I have maintenance needs constantly with my unit. I have sent comments several times after maintenance. The staff will not knock on the door but just enter and say maintenance when they enter. This is a home not a hotel and there should be a process. 1 schedule a timeframe and call first. The current process is extremely disruptive. Secondly, the team leaves a mess. I have had to throw away items that were stepped on and soiled because of your staff. I don’t mind giving my access to enter but there needs to be a process. Thirdly, there should be a note left stating someone was in the unit. If you want to act like a hotel and enter whenever you want, then follow the hotel process and leave a note and the work that was done and the outcome of the work. I am happy to help you with this, it’s simple and common sense.

The staff is great, especially Madisyn, Ella, Briseida, Alicia, Dustin, Dilan, Wyatt, and Jimmy! The office staff made my move in process so easy and seamless , the maintenance team made sure all of the action items in the apartment were perfect for me before moving in. Jimmy made sure my closet was fixed properly after not so great job by the painters, Alicia made sure I had everything I needed for move in on time, Madi accommodated my special needs for the freight and loading dock. The amenities are great especially the 3rd floor grills.

My fridge stopped working during the night, submitted a request to repair it the next morning, and by noon, the fridge was completely replaced by a new one. The maintenance folks were excellent at their work.

1600 Glenarm place is a building right in the heart of Denver. The building is a gorgeous piece of history that is improving with every day I've been here. The staff and crew of the building is just as much of a highlight as the building itself.

The biggest issue is the lack of functional elevators in this 32-story building. Only two elevators are working, one of which is the service elevator. It's very dirty, barely operational, and has already gotten stuck within my first week here. Another major concern is security. People can enter the building without access cards, which is very disturbing and unsafe. Fix these issues, and 1600 Glenarm could become a top-notch place to live for an older building.

Not very happy with my first few weeks in. Apartment wasn't fully cleaned. Taking forever to solve my maintenance issues and elevators have broken down multiple times during the past almost 3 weeks.

This apartment complex is located right in the middle of the homeless population. It feels very unsafe walking home, especially after it gets dark, and you can hear the homeless people screaming in the middle of night from your apartment.

Anyone that is thinking of living in 1600 Glenarm Pl should stop thinking. There are plenty of apartments that offer much better service for a lot cheaper. This place will stress you out because the people working in it can’t do there jobs properly. We have had issues with the leasing office and maintenance team for 8 months now, and people who have lived here for years have told us that they have had these issues as well. I highly recommend that you go find a different apartment that at least respects the money that the residents pay them.

Summary: This apartment would be fine, if issues didn't always stack up. It's too expensive for something that can't maintain the essentials. This building always has issues. Whether the water shuts down randomly or for maintenance, or even just not getting hot water consistently. Power issues, the last couple years having 2 major power outages that forced people out of their apartment for days on end. Elevators constantly having issues for the entirety that I've lived here. It would be a decent apartment if these things didn't happen so often. Especially for the price! I understand downtown for some reason means it's worth "more" but that shouldn't be the case when I can't take a hot shower in the morning, and have power for my computer for my job to pay this astronomically high rent. To be fair to them, the staff try their best to mediate the issues, even if we get left in the dark for too long, or if their estimates never usually seem to be correct. When the power went out for 3 days, they did compensate us for the food that went bad. The maintenance is better then is used to be.

The one thing that they don't tell you before you sign the lease is that the the elevator NEVER works, and this building is falling apart. They are very friendly when you sign the lease because they know that these apartments are way overpriced for how old the building is.

I really like having the valet parking and the leasing team has been great. I had to move in quick and it was all very easy. Tawnie has been very helpful and easy to communicate with regarding anything I need.

Been living here about a year, on the upper floors. There are two main elevators for the upper levels, plus a freight elevator. One of the main elevators hasn't worked since we moved in. The other one works, but often goes down. They do try to get it fixed asap, but with delays in getting parts it doesn't alway happen. If you are moving in or out, on the upper floors do it early in the morning or at night so you don't have to wait so long for elevators. If your apartment is adjacent to the elevators, expect to hear them going up and down, and the bell on the levels above and below, but you get used to them. The units on the front of the building with balconies can be quite noisy with 16th street and Paramount Theater right here. The balconies on all floors, except penthouse and the 3rd floor, are small and not something you can really enjoy, other than to use the small grill that is included with your balcony. It isn't unusual to smell cigarette smoke coming into your apartment from the other balconies. If you are on the side or back corner of the apartment, there are no balconies, but it is much quieter and the windows and views are amazing. The apartments are spacious and that's a plus. Maintenance is trying to update the building after not being well maintained by the prior management company, but there is a lot for them to do. They will come fix important things right after you move in, but routine maintenance can take time or not happen. But from what I hear, that is apartments in general, not just this one. Overall, if you want to be right in the midst of downtown, it's not a bad place to be. The people that live here are nice and the common areas are well kept and enjoyable. Good gym. Great restaurants and entertainment all right here. If you want quiet, focus on the back side or the side that faces 17th street as you won't get it on the Glenarm or 16th Street side.

I have been here for almost a year and absolutely love my unit. The floorplan is amazing and an excellent value for the Sq footage. There are so many amenities and it's a super dog friendly community. All of the staff are super nice and helpful. I feel safe here and enjoy having the valet as well as the concierge desk. There are so many places to go to and things to do nearby. The complex does pop ups, parties, giveaways and other fun things like that frequently. The coffee machine is amazing, they also have biscuits and baggies for dogs.

The current management will set up the payment system purposely drowning you in late fee. There is no understanding or commitment to help the residents. All the management cares about serving their upper managers and residents are just cows in the slaughterhouse. Once the contract is signed, you will be next! If you pay attention to the reviews, all the good reviews are old and for the previous property management, so don't get fooled about the high rating.

I have lived here for 5 years and for the last three years Northland has managed this property. In those three years, we have not had 5 working elevators for longer than a few weeks. Last year, the freight elevator was down for almost 9 months. Currently, half the building, the half that pays more, has only had one working elevator when they have a working freight elevator that they could make available to us but they are choosing not to. Delivery drivers and their maintenance team are apparently more important than the hundreds of residents who live here. Oh and of course if you move in you get access to the freight as I’m sure they’d hate for you to know the elevators go down weekly. I know it’s easy to disregard upset ranting reviews, but I’m a legit Denver professional whose lived here for a long time. I worked in multi family property management for 5 years, c class properties none-the-less and so I actually know a thing or two about what I’m talking about. At this point, leaving negative reviews and trying to campaign against them increasing their occupancy here seems like the only option we as residents have left to try and get them to fix anything and suck it up and replace these elevators. Sorry if this seems to “ranty” but that’s how bad it’s become.

My husband and I moved into 1600 Glenarm just last month. However, in that short we have been super impressed with the amount of communication and security from the entire team. The location, staff friendliness and the amenities provided are way beyond a 5 star rating! My husband and I love living here and hope for many more years!

The housekeeping department isn't staffed appropriately, no security. Homeless people often come into the building and live around the outside of the property. Office staff is uncaring and incapable of doing anything.

1600 Glenaarm Place is the best apartment building in Denver CO. We have lived in 3 different apartments in this building for the past 8 years!!!!!
As a recently diagnosed stage 4 cancer person I knew I wanted to fulfill my "bucket list!" My wife and I left our home to embrace the energetic and fast pace life of downtown. We have enjoyed immensely our time here. It has been exactly what we needed. We have fallen in love all over again and it has been more than we could have imagined. Every aspect of our apt living has brought us closer together with each day. It has been our "saving grace" through a difficult journey. The benefits have been endless from being at the center of everything, to our beautiful scenic view to the outstanding staff who are kind and attentive beyond belief. These are just some of the reasons why we call 1600 Glenarm home!
We love so many things about living at Glenarm, but my favorite is the layout of our apartment. I work from home and our layout has a separate den for my office. It's perfect for my wife and me because we felt like we didn't need a 2-bedroom, but the1 bedroom den is ideal. My wife really loves the walk-in closet and our huge master bathroom. The amenities, like the gym, game room and cinema are also great! We couldn't be happier living here.
I have never rented and I'm 85 years old. -- this building has it all ----- starting with various age groups and canines. It boasts a central location for theater, art museums, restaurants and transportation. This would be unimportant if the building was rundown and the personnel did not give all of us supreme service. I don't mean " lip Service". I mean personal help from the valet guys to the front desk to the maintenance crew. No task is too small or too big---- they answer my emails or phone call immediately and solve it. They hang my pictures ------they move my heavy stuff......they start a dead car battery. It's In the details.........all knew my name from day one----AND from that day on...... It became my home.
When I moved from NYC to Denver I wanted a place with the city feel with all the great amenities. Glenarm Place not only is at the intersection of everything but their staff, from their valets, to maintanence to their Concierge are all amazing! They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The buidling is amazing and the residentsa re all great. We have BBQ's, Happy Hours and social events. I didn't even mention the gym, movie theatre or the large patio overlooking 16th St Mall and the mountains. Glenarm Rocks! MH
This apartment is the best in the city, perfectly located in the center of everything that is Downtown Denver, on 16th St Mall. Every apartment feels like a penthouse! You can see everything that CO has to offer from the numerous floor-to-ceiling windows. The concierge and valet teams are top-notch.
We love the apartment, the building and the staff. It is a beatifully maintained building with wonderful amenities and common areas. We have a gym, demonstration kitchen, conference room, outside area and more! Every few months there is a social event so we can get to know our neighbors. Maintenance requests, a rarity, are responded to quickly. We have lived in 4 different units( the first being corporate housing) and have been very happy in each one. We moved back to CA for business but decided to come back to Denver and living in the Glenarm again was a big part of that decision!!
I lived the suburban homeowner life for over 30 years. Weary of cranky lawnmowers, cracked driveways, the need for never ending renovations, taxes and interest expense, my wife and I sold our homes in 2008 and became renters. Brilliant!!! The Glenarm is a gorgeous office highrise conversion with all the amenities one could want. But here is the key - MANAGEMENT. After living in 5 different properties (NYC, SF and Denver) over the past several years we've learned that by far the most important amenity is the property's management. It's the number one consideration in our experience. Redpeak Properties, a Denver developer, owner and manager comes out on top. That's why we've returned to the Glenarm 3 times!
1600 Glenarm is incredible. Truly perfectly located to explore every part of town. You are in the heart of downtown, footsteps from the free shuttle and a short ride to the Highlands, RiNo and South Broadway to explore Denver's many breweries. The outdoor area has an amazing view of 16th St and a great place to relax with a book or grill out and entertain friends. What really separates 1600 Glenarm is the staff. The concierge and valets are extremely helpful and work hard to make your stay comfortable. They organize many events that make 1600 a community.
We are in an awesome location, right at the heart of downtown Denver. If you walking isn't an option free mall ride bus passes in front of building. There is plenty of places for entertainment including a less than 5 min walk across the mall for movies, food and shopping. The building is beautiful and the staff is great. All the neighbors are friendly. As a bonus there are plenty of fitness and healthy training classes available free through out the week. IF you are looking for a place in a prime location surrounded by great people this place is it.
Situated smack dab in the middle of the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver this building is heaven for all foodies and general partiers alike. The building caters to a diverse population of tenants. So many amenities included in the rent, which is more than reasonable considering other downtown Denver buildings charge rent, plus. Free valet no tip parking, free coffee and tea 24/7, business center, party rooms and rooftop deck, great gym with trainers, and the friendliest concierges and leasing staff in downtown Denver. Did I mention the resident parties and perks program. This is an Immaculate, well-maintained property, with a view of the mountains to die for. It's all about the view in Colorado.
Being a resident in this building feels like living a in a concierge hotel. The staff is polite and helpful, maintenance requests get answered promptly, and the community areas are kept clean and serviceable. The light rail is a few minutes walk away, less if you take the free buss at the corner, and the view of the mountains is hard to beat in the downtown area. With the resident perks, location, and a ton of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance; I can't imagine living anywhere else.
We came from a fairly large apartment in the suburbs (1000 sqft, 1 bed, den, 2 bath) and thought we wanted something similar in the suburbs of Colorado.After looking at apartments out in the suburbs, we quickly realized that we valued a better location. This is an awesome location, close to all the cute Denver neighborhoods and downtown attractions. While being downtown required us to choose a smaller apartment, the apartment and amenities make it worth it. The apartment is incredibly well kept - carpet and paint looks fresh, and all appliances work great. If you do have any issues, they are fantastic about replacing (or repairing) promptly. We also have a washer/dryer, which if you know anything about Downtown Denver, is definitely an added bonus! The amenities of the building are the best part. I'll start with the valet. I was really concerned about having valet parking at my building, not being able to get to my car when I need it. You have two options, garage or lot parking. Either way, your car comes back without snow and warmed up... thanks valets! Once you're in the building you're greeted by the friendly concierge. They are also awesome! Truly concierge (not just security staff sitting at a desk giving you an annoyed grimace if you ask them a question). They've helped me with so much ranging from turning off my straightening iron when I've left for work and forgot to helping find restaurants and other events. You can also schedule cleanings by their internal housekeeping staff, which is super convenient. They have the best fitness services I've ever seen in an apartment. Not only do they have a yoga room and gym, but they offer 3 free group classes (which ROCK) and personal services, including lifestyle coaching and massage. I definitely recommend this apartment. I pretty much won't move from here unless we move out of the state or eventually buy a house.
Glenarm apartments is not only in a great location, but has the best concierge in town! Anytime we have questions about local shops, restaurants, events, etc the concierge are always providing us with great advice. They also put together fun social events for the residents, such as cooking classes, painting parties, happy hours. We love living here!
