If you like fun, you'll love Midtown. This is where Atlanta comes to play -- Midtown is home to the Fox Theater, the Center Stage Theater, the High Museum of Art, the Atlanta Botanical Garden, Piedmont Park, the gothic Vortex (home of Atlanta's favorite burger), and the iconic Varsity (home of Atlanta's favorite onion rings). Bordering Midtown on its west side, you'll find Georgia Tech and Atlantic Station. Many Georgia Tech students live in Midtown, where they can walk to class or take MARTA.
Directly south of Midtown, you'll find more to do at the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, and Centennial Olympic Park. Sports fans can head to Philips Arena, home to the NBA Atlanta Hawks and the WNBA Atlanta Dream. Dinosaur fans will love the Fernbank Museum, those who like mummies can head to Michael C.

Property Ratings at 1660 Peachtree Midtown
I was charged twice for the security deposit and I have not been able to get anyone to respond and do not have my refund yet. The other issue is trying to establish power with GA Power so that we could move in was such a hassle. Took me over a week to get connection established because GA Power said there was no such address. Asked apartment managers for assistance and they could not help. They could not even provide a meter number to assist me. Stuck in the middle and could not move in to apartment till connection was established in our name. Package delivery is another huge issue. Package concierge System is useless and again no help from apartment managers. We can't get our packages that were put into the locker by Amazon. Managers tell us to contact package concierge and package concierge asks for locker number. FYI locker numbers are inside locker that is locked and er can't get into. Suck in the middle and no one to help resolve anything
Would give 0 stars if I could. DO NOT MOVE HERE. We live for little over a month and were able to break our lease due to unlivable conditions. On the day that we were supposed to move (2 hours prior to our move in) they called that the apartment had no power. Once we got there they left us waiting for an hour and a half while we were paying movers by the hour. When they finally got to us they said that they had to switch our unit at the last minutes because the apartment had electrical issues and had a cracked wall because of that and that we were “lucky” that we could switch the unit for a fully renovated one. We we got there we noted that the pantry and laundry had no doors, the sink wasn’t properly installed, toiled need to be sealed as well as the bathtub, the bathroom floor had water damage and needed to be replaced, the door had no peephole (just and exposed hole) , the lock was missing the plate guard, the kitchen garbage disposal wasn’t connected neither the dishwasher, we were missing lightbulbs in the living room area, they removed the microwave and did not properly sand/paint the area. Additionally, the main gate is always broken/open, the gate that leads to the garage has a major security flaw and a side door that leads to the loading dock is always open as well. 29 days went by and nobody came to fix anything and to make matters worse water was seeping through the floor and we started to have water leaks coming through the ceiling in different locations. Which lead lo the growth of mold in the floor. Furthermore, we had a fruit fly infestation and a black widow in the HVAC. We pushed to put everything in writting until we were able to BREAK the lease. I know for a fact the my neighbors are living in similar or worse situations than what I was. They call this apartments “Luxury”; what a joke. I’ve been trying to get in contact with the property owners The Connor Group regarding this matter because we incurred in tons of fees to move in and unplanned expenses to move out. We believed that we are entitled to get our money back.
Pros: -Abundant Parking -Decent Living Space thats it. Cons: -gunshots (poor security) -untrustworthy/lazy employees -lazy/untimely maintenance -rats -trash overflows regularly (doesn't help that you pay for trash/sewage on top of rent) -lack of upkeep (the elevator still hasn't been fixed after a month) -poor amenities -hidden fees -platform fee with rent Summary: This place is far too overpriced for the amenities, fees, office, trash, and space. There are plenty of other suitable, more affordable, and simply better living spaces than this one. I urge you to save your money. Do yourself a favor. Don't move here.
We’ve been here for 2 months, and it’s the worst place I’ve ever lived. Most recently, a bullet came through our window. The management company refuses to acknowledge it was even a bullet! This has been the typical response from management. Glass tiles from our “luxury backsplash” consistently fell off the wall from the start of the lease. Utilities are much more expensive than they should be, including $75 for sewer which was not explained. Trash piles up constantly. Vomit in the hallway. 1 of the 2 elevators had been broken for over 2 weeks, and the other had dogshit in it. The gym is a mess. Gates constantly broken. Appliances left is stairways in violation of fire code. We were told one price and our lease was another. Bunch of hidden fees in the lease that were not disclosed. We weren’t allowed to see the unit until we signed the lease. Our floors are scratched and the carpet is disgusted. We got trapped. This place is not safe. It is much more expensive than advertised. They are intentionally deceitful. They’ll treat you well until you sign your lease and then you’re trapped.
Finally got to move out of these apartments, had to contact a property manager explaining all the issues I was facing for them to finally agree to let me break my lease ahead of time without any problems. Nothing changed. My issues were never fixed after a whole year. Staff is very unprofessional & nonchalant, the worst place I have ever lived at. In the end I also found out there were some hidden fees I was paying for which I originally had no knowledge about.
This apartment is an absolute joke. When I moved in the gate was broken but left closed and made it extremely difficult to get settled (they just fixed it after a month of being broken and zero communication from their office). Prior to my move I’d requested dimensions three times, two via email and one by phone, of my apartment and never received them. I also requested move in information and instructions and received nothing. As I came down to move in I happened to call and they allowed me to have a move in slot (again I’d already tried to do this and they ignored me since they had my money). When I called the next day to let them know we were running late they said they had no move in scheduled that day. Are they all new at this? I had a package delivered and couldn’t find it and they were not helpful, even implying it was my fault only for it to have been in one of their offices the entire time. Their staff acts extremely nice and are very charming. They remember your name but like fake jewelry it’s just for show and not real. I moved in to an apartment with cracked light covered, broken toilets, and a dirty moldy bathroom and apartment. In your paperwork they claim there is a white glove cleaning service…. So where is that? How can I move in as a new tenant and there is dirty water streaks on the floor, dead bugs piled on every flat surface and above my fireplace, dust so thick on my fridge that it was gray not black. The previous tenant left cookware, tools, medicine… you name it and yet this wasn’t found and disposed of by this “white glove” service? Seriously? My clicker still doesn’t work for the gym or gate and they keep saying it’s not on them and there is no communication on when it will get fixed or any sense of urgency at all. Tenants in the building not on the ground floor let their dogs poop all over the parking facilities where you walk, people leave their trash everywhere as they are too lazy to walk it to the trash chute (which is always overflowing) and it’s on us to report other residents for these infractions despite them making a large show of security cameras everywhere. People say it is quiet and no it isn’t, neighbor plays loud movies and music on week days at around 2-3am so don’t believe the sales pitch on how quiet things are. Also you’re by a train station so you WILL hear the train when it comes in late at night or early in the morning. I question validity of these other great reviews because I’ve spoken with other residents.
There are humongous rats running through the parking garage, our patio, the pool and of course the trash area (the entire 1st floor). If you stand still to long, the rats will stand next to you like they did to me. There are Army ants that March into our apartment at odd times. There is also spiders and centipedes that I have killed. The marijuana smoke hits you from the parking garage! Then it continues into our apartment and permeates our air and clothing. There is mold forming in our kitchen and mildrew in the bathrooms. If you don’t head this warning and decide to rent here, ensure they don’t do a bait and switch on you. If you have time, ensure you see the apartment you are moving into before you get the keys. The nice apartment we saw is not the wet, smelly, beat up apartment we got when we got the keys.
Pros: • Abundant parking. • Easy access to MARTA. • Decent amenities. • Located in Midtown; I ended up moving to Buckhead, but as much as I love and miss Midtown, 1660 didn't make it worthwhile at all. On that note, proceed to the cons. Cons: • High concentration of SCAD students, which results in constant partying, persistent weed stench, trash left in the hallways, and a general lack of consideration for other residents. • Very old buildings with visible signs of age including loose floorboards, water damaged walls and ceilings, and mold/mildew in the bathtubs • Laughable security; the gates break frequently, sometimes due to mechanical errors, other times due to idiots who drive into them; also, I don't know how many times they changed the resident gate codes, but it was so annoying when someone would show up to visit and dial the gate code I had given them only to learn it had been changed. • Shoddy maintenance. • Although it's in Midtown, the physical location is awful; it's on Peachtree Street between Deering Road and the Buford Hwy access road opposite a turning lane for Buford Hwy and a wide gore; this means you can only legally turn right out of the complex, but people break this law all the time by attempting left turns, which is great when you're stuck behind them wanting to turn right because the driveway is extremely narrow. • Careless, non-communicative management which happens to have high turnover; upon moving out, there were only two leasing staff members who were there when I moved in two years ago. • Horrible umbrella company known as Connor Group that has a silly payment portal called Resident Billing that charges fees for auto-pay.
I have been renting for 2 years and I left on August, they are sending me a statement asking to pay $1600.00 to clean the carpet and paint the wall because there is a color on the wall, which is the mold that they have all over the wall. We left the carpet in good condition which is the regular use, they had some mold on the wall which made me move because I afraid about my health. I think it is normal to clean the carpet after 2 years of renting to rent it to the next customer and also they are suppose to paint the wall after 2 years of using the apartment.
I have been apartment hunting for the last couple of months and fortunately found an apartment complex that is in a great location and meets all my needs. However, I wanted to share my experience with 1660 Peachtree. A word of caution if you decide to tour here: Be cautious and get everything in writing. This place is unfortunately using bait-and-switch techniques to sell there apartments. I had an unfortunate experience here due to a lack of transparency and unethical sales techniques. Nothing was done to mediate this negative experience and my attempts at resolving it appear to be ignored.
I just recently moved to 1660 Peachtree and I felt compelled to write a review because I’m so glad I signed a lease here!! All of the staff is incredibly helpful and genuinely kind. They always remember me by name and have checked in since my move-in to make sure my new place was up to par. I did quite a lot of apartment shopping before settling on this place, and it was a clear front runner out of everywhere I looked around the city. It’s a quiet community of seemingly mostly graduate students, SCAD students and young professionals. They’ve got a pool, grills, and gym. Every unit has a security/alarm system and two locks, which is a huge perk for me as a young woman living alone in the city. There’s also multiple gates that require a resident key to enter the complex at all times. The only negative I have really seen during my time living here would be that, occasionally, the security gate to the parking garage is left open (**but there are still several gates beyond that around the complex which keep it secure, so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about). My one-bedroom apartment is so spacious, and the kitchen appliances are updated and modern. There’s multiple storage closets throughout the unit, and the bedroom closet is even spacious enough to fit all my clothes (which, if you know me, is quite an accomplishment). My unit also came with a washer and dryer which was a God-send. My favorite part of the apartment is all of the natural light that comes from several large windows overlooking an adorable, quiet little courtyard. ? Don’t be deterred by some of the less positive reviews, because I’ve had a great experience here so far and would recommend 1660 Peachtree to any of my friends.
After reading reviews I was a little hesitant but to my surprise apts are clean , maintenance is great and Ashley I believe she is the manager went above and beyond to accommodate my requests. Keep the good work !
So I moved into 1660 Peachtree Apts on Dec. 26th, 2018. On Dec 27th, It rained and I had a huge puddle in my living room. No one could quite figure out where the leak was that they decided to tear apart my back wall last week on Jan 8th. So I've been living in my apt with a missing back wall in my living room and this unsightly plastic everywhere Since then. The Corporate office doesn't seem to care- doesn't seem to have a plan- and most importantly doesn't seem to want to compensate me in any way for the inconvenience. In fact they say thats their policy. Is this really how you run your business? Just to be clear- I'm paying my rent for four walls and I know have three and half and no one here seems particularly concerned about it but me. They have a high turnover here from college students so they must not care to keep long term residents . DON'T RENT HERE! Find another place!
Really love the location of these apartments! Management is awesome, especially Courtney. Maintenance is also on point. Responds to a request in a timely matter, usually the day of. I recommend these apartments!
Every year we get robbed. They are not changing anything or taking responsibility. Not even safe to live here.
I was live there before. The agency there forces people give good review. But... I have to say, honestly, that’s my worest leasing experience ever. A lot neighbor get robbed, expecially people live on the first floor. Additionally, I found roaches in my apartment, and ask them for pest control. But it never happened.
Lived here for a year because I just transferred school. I do NOT recommend it. The house and facilities are okay but people who run the office are HORRIBLE. They do not care about residents and only care about money. There are so many things just wrong here. Unless you live on the top floor, you will have rats and roaches as your new neighbor next door! Hooray! Isn't that exciting for what you're paying? They will also give you a discount if you're writing a good review. Really good friend of mine told me the lady in the office tried to "bribe" her to write a good review so their ratings can go up and get more residents living (and money). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR LIVING. I only lived here for a year and it was the worst. I would write more about the problems if there wasn't a word count.
Literally everything is horrible about this place. The aircondition regularly breaks and doesn't work. The pipes have clogged and flooded in my apartment 3 times within the past 15 months. There are also ridiculous noise issues. The majority of people who live here are rich college kids who live off of their parents dime and party everyday on weekday evenings past midnight, in the public pool without regard to anyone wanting to sleep or who actually have to work during the day. I've complained about this issue several times but according to management theres "nothing they can do" about it. On top of this, they increased the price of rent by $100 per month. 0/10 apartment in every way.
The office staff is very friendly and courteous. However, one individual stands out above the rest and that is Courtney. She is the definition of customer service.
I had the pleasure of working with Courtney, she is very helpful and well informed. She made moving in process quick and easy for me. Thank you
I moved into this apartment towards the end of October 2017. The leasing representative Cynthia assisted me with selecting the one bedroom apartment over the phone. She was extremely professional and courteous.I trusted her advice and as a result, I am a very happy tenant. Tia was also very professional and courteous in reviewing the leasing conditions with me. Overall, a very pleasant experience thus far. Damion
I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia, Nadean, Kristi, and Tia to get a unit at 1660 Peachtree. Nadean showed me the amenities and the unit and I have to say the moment I walked in I knew it was the place for me. The facilities were clean and up to date. The unit was much larger than I expected and everything was up to par. There were some very minor issues within the unit that Nadean helped to get corrected right away. The location is absolutely perfect, being near everything that matters, being food and entertainment. I am honored to have the opportunity stay at 1660. I am looking forward to a great and lasting relationship with the entire Team. Thanks a million.
I've lived here a month and a half. I have had to request getting ants removed 3 times. Since day 1 our bathroom sink and tub were clogged, had to call maintenance 3 times as well. They told me pool was open year round (which is important to me) on our tour and the day after I moved in a sign went up "pool closed until next summer". Basically told us what we want to hear during tour to get us to move in. The staff is pleasant and respond very quickly to emails and calls which I appreciate it. As for place itself not ideal because Cyper cafe is only open during office hours m-sat 10am-6pm which is when everyone is at work and doesn't need the comp but need it at night and on weekends and not open then unfortunately.
This complex looks great on the outside, but on be inside it’s a hot mess. Management is absolutely terrible and they falsified information to us when moving in. For example, they said parking was optional which made them different from a lot of other apartment complexes. Lie. They charge $35/ month for parking, and when confronted they said that parking was mandatory. They will say what they need to say to get you to move in and then change what they said once they have you in the contract. In addition, I’ve only been living here for a month and I’ve almost stepped on poop twice in the hallways and there are ants all over my bathroom and kitchen. To save yourself multiple headaches please live somewhere else.
Everyone in the front office, aside from LaKeysha, is useless and they don't really care about anything other than making sure they get your money. The online portals you use for payment and utilities are awful too. Good luck.
I have been living in the community for just over a month now and have felt right at home. The location is great- I feel like I am just a few minutes away from anything I need or anywhere I'm trying to go. Features that helped me make the decision to move here were the location, covered parking/parking deck, helpful staff, and maintained common spaces. So far I feel good with my decision to call 1660 Peachtree home.
I MOVED a couple week ago and it was the easiest experience ever. CHLOE was so helpful and such a awesome tour guide. She would be an asset to any company.
Moved in about 3 weeks ago. Great and professional office staff. Cynthia was TERRIFIC and helped us out with our lease signing. She made this a super easy processes...and I'm needy. So, God bless her.
1660 Peachtree Apartments are the very best!!! I moved to Atlanta from Wisconsin and had no time to find a place in person. Thus, my online search began. Once I found 1660 Peachtree Apartments online, I called the leasing office and spoke with Cynthia on the phone. Not only was she super helpful and thorough, but she also was very efficient in getting me all set up for my first "big girl" apartment. I also cannot express enough how easy the leasing office team made it to move in. I have now been living in these apartments for six months and I can honestly say I have no regrets signing my lease here. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, the maintenance team acknowledges it and gets it fixed within 48 hours of me making a maintenance request and always get it done with a smile. :) The grounds, hallways and parking garage are always kept really clean too! :) The location is great too! 10/10 would recommend living here!
-Convenient Location -Helpful staff enabled me to complete the leasing process remotely from out of town -Property is well kept, clean, and very secure -Apartment was clean upon move-in -Maintenance issue resolved quickly
Horrible business conductors. Small space for the price, best to look elsewhere.
I have lived at this apartment complex for about 3 years and recently a new company bought the complex; they are terrible. The story is different if you're a potential resident, but don't fall for it. For current residents, they use high-pressure sales tactics for lease renewals. Submitting maintenance requests or noise complaints require multiple submissions before they record the request in the system. As far as addressing complaints and other issues, after the first complaint they say they will take care of it; after the second complaint because they still haven't taken care of it they say they will handle it, but it isn't until I have asked them three or more times that they actually do something about it. When they finally address a maintenance request, the work is bad and I end up having to redo it myself. At this point, I have just stopped asking them to do any maintenance, assuming that I will just have to take care of it. On top of their bad service, they actually offered to pay the residents to write them good reviews. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. My rent here has increased 15% every single year. And for the terrible service and office staff I am getting now it is not worth it. I will not be renewing my lease again.
This place has a good location and close to everything.
They are truly patient with me. Amusing and entertaining. I'd like so see what the future has. But for now I have to say. I got nothing but good things to say.
The place is great. Ample parking space. Great neighborhood.
Wonderful location. Wonderful pool. Close to work and Marta.
This apartment complex is in a great location with easy access to 75, 85, Peachtree St, and Spring Street. It's also within walking distance (~1 mile) to MARTA and Piedmont Park. They have recently updated their exercise and pool facilities which they keep well maintained. There have been a few incidents where cars have had smashed in windows, or "break-ins" have been reported, but if you do not keep valuables visible in your vehicle, and you keep your door to your apartment locked (like every smart renter should), you shouldn't have any problems.
This complex has good aminities, high ceilings, & hardwood floors! The pricing is fair for the square footage per apartment which include washer/dryer, large living space, built in shelving units in the bedroom and a walk-in closet. These apartments are clean with all new finishings. The kitchen came with new appliances and the countertops finished with a unique granet design. The large living space is what drew my attention becuase it provides plenty of room for entertaining or adding a table for a more traditional feel.
This place is amazing. It's located conveniently next to my college as well as Deering so I can take the back roads to almost anywhere. The apartments themselves are nice. The layouts and setups really make the apartment livable rather than just a nuisance. My ownly two issues is the fact that the entrance to this place is so hard to get into sometimes but that's only when people won't let you through to turn. The other issue is the fact that you have to pay online in full rather than pay half and then let your roommate pay the other half. If you have multiple people it really puts stress on one person to use their bank account while everyone supplies the money. I'm pretty sure more than 40% of this apartment complex is housing students so how can they not let two people pay the rent from two different accounts for one price. You still get your money but it puts the blame, if they are late, on the person that actually deserves it rather than the whole apartment.
