About 1726 N Quinn St Arlington, VA 22209
First of all, I have lived in this unit for 9 years and LOVED every minute of it. Also please note the lease start date is flexible!! This is a beautiful, old-world style apartment (hardwood floors, high ceilings, black and white parquet tiling in the bathroom) ideally located right off Wilson Blvd, half-way between Rosslyn and Courthouse metro stops. The space itself huge with separate entryway and dining area, and beautiful parquet-style hardwood floors. Windows on three sides of the apartment gives it a ton of light, a great cross breeze when the weather is nice enough for open windows, and leaves you undisturbed by other neighbors. This apartment is on the top floor, up 2.5 flights of a stairwell that is shared with 5 other units. Management is very helpful and although I rarely have had any problems, they always promptly address any issue I've had. They also have an after-hours line so they can still help even if it is 10pm on a Saturday. Location: - Less than a half mile from both Rosslyn and Courthouse metros - 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride to Georgetown - One block from Safeway and CVS - Less than a mile to Whole Foods and Trader Joe's - 7-11 across the street - BeanGood coffee shop/pub with free wifi, Pho 75, and Rolls by U sushi (among other things!) in the plaza behind the building - Tons of bars, restaurants, and gyms within a few block radius - Easy access to I-66, I-395, and Route 50 - Adjacent to the Mount Vernon/Custis trail with a paved jogging/biking path Features inside the apartment: - Galley-style kitchen with gas stove and plenty of cabinet space - 3 closets including one walk-in closet - Window unit A/C (which you control, in case it is 80 degrees in February) - Radiator heating (which you also control, and which is very kind to dry winter skin) - Bathroom has shower/tub combo and a window for ventilation Building amenities: - FREE parking, on first-come, first-serve basis (I have never had an issue finding a space) - Laundry facilities with 3 shared washers and 3 shared dryers, payable with rechargeable card - On site dry cleaning, laundry, and shoe care available through Pressbox Extras: - I will not be taking my kitchen table, chairs, or coffee table with me. There may be a few other odds and ends that I will not end up needing. You may keep them if you like, or else I will donate them. *FLEXIBLE lease start date: Ideally the lease would begin August 1, but I have a little bit of flexibility if you need the unit sooner or would prefer to start the lease a little later. *Unfortunately the building does NOT allow cats or dogs :( **Full disclosure: I am finding a new tenant so that I can break my lease a couple months early, so anyone interested would need to apply through Longford Management, and there is a $50 application fee. Also, while Longford promised me that they would not raise the rent by any significant amount, the price may vary slightly from what I pay now ($1545) so you should call them for an exact amount. You are also responsible for utilities including internet/cable, water, electric, and gas. I am not in a huge financial crunch to offload the place so I will be honest with you about any issues, although, again, I have loved every minute here. Email to schedule a viewing.

Directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington is less a suburb than an extension of the nation’s capital. It’s the home of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, with a number of waterfront parks offering beautiful views across the river to the National Mall.
The community provides a wide range of living options, from apartments, townhomes, and duplexes to condos and houses. A major reason for Arlington’s popularity is that there is so much to do. Washington may be packed with monuments, museums, and other sightseeing landmarks, but Arlington holds the advantage when it comes to the more day-to-day shopping, dining, entertainment, and nightlife.
You’ll have several options for getting around town or into D.C., whether you choose to drive, take the Metro, or ride your bike — Arlington has earned a silver rating from the League of American Bicyclists.
