Property Ratings at 19 Franklin St
Even the Auburn police have told me that this is not the place to be on Franklin Street - Especially 19. The tenants insist on leaving the lobby doors wide open MOST of the time, which creates instant access for squirrels, skunks, ETC. Tenants are very noisy and constantly slam doors very loudly as well as smoke inside the building. Try and call you out to fight them just to make you lose your temper and go to jail. They also insist on cooking out right by your window which allows smoke to come inside of your apt thru the windows which are poorly maintained. The electric baseboard heat goes right out the window so you can't stay warm. The "property manager" is trying to dump this place by selling it because he knows it was a mistake in buying it.
Unless you enjoy living like this. Tenants block both the doorway and the stoop. The building is never cleaned at all or repaired much. There are critters running around in the ceiling. The property manager is unreliable. Police show up there on a regular basis for fights, etc. A key fee is charged as well as a non refundable pet fee if you are allowed to have one. Tenants plant drugs outside the building and some video record you. There are other places you can rent that are better.
The shrubs never got trimmed after asking about 10 times. There is a hole in the bottom of the exterior door that has been there for years. The garbage piles up in the back of the building. There are a lot of centipedes. The halls are always filthy' This is a noisy, drug house. Not much quiet enjoyment there. Take this from someone who lived here almost 2 years and almost 2 years was more than enough. Don't believe me, go see for yourself. HONESTLY.
