The quintessential college town of Athens, Georgia is all about the Dawgs! Home to the University of Georgia, Athens bleeds red and black. Because the city is so student-friendly, it ranks amongst the most affordable cities in the country, and is considered one of the top college towns and best craft beer cities, according to Fortune Magazine.
Athens features the university’s beautiful campus, stunning architecture, historic monuments, and a close-knit community of students and faculty. Residents and visitors alike enjoy the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, the UGA Arboretum, the Georgia Museum of Art, and the one-and-only Sanford Stadium. Athens’ thriving downtown district is home to some of the best restaurants, bars, specialty shops, and boutiques in the state, like the famous Mama’s Boy off Oak Street. Whether you’re interested in sports, live music, modern art, literary history, craft beer, or top-notch cuisine, this historic city has you covered.

if you want to live somewhere that doesn't care about your safety, constantly has theft and car break ins, constantly closes amenities, and be charged outrageous amounts to live no where near campus, then ikon is the right apartment complex for you!

I really enjoy Ikon. Was a great place to live and has been a great place to work for the past 5 years. Come by and check us out for state of the art customer service and state of the art living spaces!
It is filled with the cutest little town homes, each a different color. I live in a 3 bedroom and the downstairs consists of a full kitchen, living room, storage closet (very useful), laundry room, pantry, half-bath. My room is the perfect size and each room has its own bathroom. The pool is very nice and has a hot tub with TV screens outside to watch the game. I use the workout room frequently and the equipment is nice. Upstairs of the clubhouse has a study room where there is free printing and paper, computers, snacks, coffee, tea, etc. It gets a little chilly up there so bring a sweater or blanket to study. There is also a room to do yoga or spin classes upstairs. The sand volleyball court and dog park is also really nice! The complex also offers a bus to go downtown Thursday through Saturday from 10:30pm-2:30am which is extremely convenient. Athens Transit picks up in front of the complex to go to campus, but I wish Ikon offered their own bus to campus. Ikon is an overall great place to live, the community is so fun, and the staff is very quick to fix any maintenance issues and genuinely wants to make your experience living here great! I highly recommend living here :)
THE WORST PLACE TO LIVE!!! Management and Staff will mislead you to sign a lease and then kick you out of your lease and tell you can't even resign your unit you owned the previous year. The pool is never clean and the hot tub has a nasty stench and turns green most of the time. Maintenance is nice but the staff is the worst I ever had to deal with and I lived at 4 different places. AVOID IKON AT ALL COSTS
Ikon doesn't have towels at the pool or gym even though there are racks for it, you cannot see the tvs at the pool during the day, the classes offered in the cycling room do not work with the tv, and the front desk staff is very rude! However the houses are very nice (though not completely clean when you move in) and the maintenance crew is very prompt and helpful. Probably won't live here again.
IKON APTS are the best in Athens! The staff are great, the gym is fantastic and the pool is absolutely wonderful! All the amenities offered to residents is so incredible. We wouldn't want to live anywhere else!
