Mount Washington is a historic neighborhood with a small-town feel about seven miles north of Downtown Baltimore. Before it was annexed, Mount Washington was considered one of Baltimore’s first suburbs. If you like bugs, no temperature or humidity control, insulation so poor you could pay $200 a month for low heat to keep pipes from freezing in winter, and neighbors with no self awareness such that they let their dogs run around leash-less and defecate in front of your window six times a day (let alone the fact that you’ll hear every pounding footstep from upstairs apartments from morning to night) - this is the dump for you. The laundry room is disgusting, infested with humongous crickets and other bugs in summer. The “fancy wood floors” are a joke and are so uneven every piece of furniture you own will wobble no matter where it is. The one advantage is off street parking.
