Welcome to Midtown. We hope you enjoy your stay here at 1924 N Street. There are about 100 restaurants within six blocks; the Capitol is just a 10-minute walk away, and the Convention Center is half that. 1924 N Street is in a Historic District, and the Airbnb you are sitting in was built in 1905. The Hideaway (off of the living room): There is a twin fold-out bed that is actually pretty comfortable. Inflatable Bed: In the “Hideaway,” you will find an inflatable mattress and an Inflation device. After using, please deflate as much as possible. While the property is furnished, we will rent it vacant as well. Places to Eat! There are way too many restaurants to list, but a good website to go to that covers everything from things to do, eateries and bars, Shopping, Services, Some of my favorite restaurants within walking distance are: The Ice Blocks is a very cool development at 17th and R Street. Definitely worth the short Walk. Device Brewing and Philz Coffee are located here. Also, there is a nice little cocktail spot right across from Device. Food: Shake Shack and Mendicino Farms. ZELDAS: Located about a 5-minute walk from here. Best to order in advance. Pick it up to go or eat it there. Zocalo – Mexican Food- nice bar and ambiance. Outside seating. Paesanos – Pizza, Italian food. Good food and outside seating.. Ginger Elizabeth – If your craving chocolate. Think Sees candy but with more specialty items Crepeville – They have the best crepes and a huge variety of menu items like breakfast dishes and sandwiches. The Waterboy – more of a pricey restaurant but the food is delicious and is highly rated. Aioli Bodega Espanola – Spanish food. It is a very charming and unique restaurant right around the corner at the corner of L Street and 18th

As the oldest neighborhood in the city, Midtown Sacramento combines historic charm with vibrant urban personality. Midtown features a robust nightlife scene that draws partiers from all across the city to the local bars and clubs, but the majority of the landscape is filled with charming homes (including many beautifully preserved Victorians) along its tree-lined streets. The neighborhood’s extensive and well-maintained network of sidewalks and bike paths makes the area very friendly to pedestrians and cyclists.
Just a few blocks from the State Capitol and the Downtown business district and with a major hospital on the east side, Midtown is the perfect location for government employees, corporate professionals, and healthcare workers who want the convenience of getting to work on foot or by bicycle. For weekends and off-hours, the capital city’s popular attractions (including the waterfront and the Golden 1 Center) are just a short stroll away.
