Wedged between Balboa Park on the east side and San Diego Airport to the west, Bankers Hill is a terrific location for those who like to travel, those who like nature, and those who want to be close to the city center – Downtown San Diego is directly south of Bankers Hill. The Maple Canyon Trail is a more hidden gem in the neighborhood – residents know about it, but few others are aware of this terrific hiking path that extends one mile through the center of the neighborhood.
