This property is nestled in the Central Business District of New Orleans: walk two blocks to Bourbon Street; walk to the French Quater; go enjoy countless festivals; attend professional football and basketball games; enjoy shopping; explore museums; wine & dine yourself; watch parades from your backyard; walk to work; catch the street car!!! Enjoy amazing skyline views, granite, ceramic, washer/dryer, dishwasher; all of these perks at an affordable price!!!
For starters, New Orleans downtown, is literally, "the place to be in the U.S. right now". NOLA rocks! My apartment, unlike many others downtown here, has outstanding views in nearly every direction. My own apartment looks directly down world-famous Bourbon Street from a high perch, has a great view of the Mississippi River, a fantastic view of Lake Pontchartrain and mid-city, and for toppers, I have a grand view of Canal and Carondelet Streets where EVERY Mardi Gras parade passes! The building, built in 1929, and listed on the Historic Register, features lots of vintage brass (in the antique elevators for example), beautiful vintage chandeliers and gold and brass leaf on the ceilings in the lobby. One of the only art-deco buildings in the state, the top of the building is a lovely, ornate gold piece that originally housed the water tower. Combine all this with thoughfully remodeled and spacious units, super location with an incredible WalkScore to nearly anything you could possibly need or want, wonderful management, great workout room and 200 Carondelet Street (which I fondly refer to as "2CS") leaves no room for any other choice of living space in this city. And no, I don't work for the office :).
