There's also a lively nightlife scene with a variety of dive bars, beer halls, and cocktail lounges. The Berkeley Marina and East Shore State Park are wonderful places to explore when the weekend rolls around. There's also the Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive, which stages fascinating exhibits year round.
