Property Ratings at 201 Twenty One
The management has no idea what they are doing. They constantly change the office hours for whatever is convenient for them and then complain that residents haven’t picked up their packages that are locked on the office. They refuse to do anything about noisy neighbors and try to make residents sign addendums after they have already signed a lease. And the garage gate (that keeps residents cars secure) has been broken for months and there is always some excuse for why it’s not fixed yet. And the maintenance is a whole different issue. Our A/C broke last summer 3 times in 2 weeks and and we recently had a leak under our sink. It was dripping right in front of the maintenance guys face and he said “I don’t see a leak.” Definitely would not recommend living here and definitely won’t be renewing our lease
I've lived here at 201 Twenty One for going on a year now. So far I have been very pleased with living here. The front desk staff have always been very pleasant to deal with, repairs have been made quickly when requested, and the location is great. The pool/courtyard is great, the common areas always well maintained, and the surrounding area has plenty of options for eating and drinking. Covered parking is a huge plus, but just be aware that you will have to go on a waiting list for it... you will start on the 5th floor (uncovered) and it took me about 6 months to be moved down to 4th floor parking. The building has the occasional community event, but those are relatively few and far between, so if you're looking for a "close" community, this may not be the place for you. My only gripes are that the hot water takes quite awhile to kick in at the kitchen sink... I routinely sit there for about a minute waiting for hot water to come. They've adjusted my water heater a couple times, but it's never fixed the problem. The other downside is there are no sliding drawers in the bathroom! I just don't understand this at all... you can either store stuff in the two doors below (a pain to get to), or you can leave it all out on the counter (which I do). This seems like something that could easily be remedied, and I think they should look into fixing this. Other than this, I have no other qualms with this place, I just recently extended my lease for another year and look forward to it!
