Bayous and canals zigzag the area,so dolphin and manatee sightings are quite frequent. There are multiple marinas within a five-mile radius,including two visible across Anclote River. Golf carts are welcome in the community and in Tarpon Springs at large. The closest golf course is 10 minutes away; the well-known Innisbrook Golf Resort is 15 minutes away. So is AL Anderson park on the freshwater Lake Tarpon,the largest lake in Pinellas County. US Hwy 19,running along the lake,is a major north/south thoroughfare.
