Rent for a year and if you like it buy it next year when interest rates are more reasonable or just keep renting. We were going to retire in this house, but decided Florida was a better match for us, so I will eventually sell it. House is offered partially furnished or unfurnished. I plan to move the rest of the things that go with us to Florida in the middle of August so that would be the ideal time to schedule an appointment to see the house in person.
