Property Ratings at 2101 Michigan
I enjoy living here but it’s always room for improvement but I can say I dislike the Laundry Room they went up on the prices but yet the machines are always broken
Hopefully, as things continue to improve, so will those who are neighbors. Management and maintenance are my main reasons for staying. Over the years they have improved vastly.
I love living here! This is a great area, the park is a block away, the corner store is 2 minutes away and the school is 8 minutes...walking!! The only downfall is the washing machines are always out of order! I wish they would just get new ones.
I like my apartment but I don’t like the way things are going around here I feel like they could have did better if they want to keep renter living here, but I am going to be moving when my lease ends
Great place, welcoming staff, and so many events. Great to see new residents in the building lately! Couldn’t imagine being anywhere else in the city
I am happy to have a nice place to live in and a great location! The maintenance staff is very meticulous to fixing things and do respond in a reasonable fast time.
I enjoy being a resident here at 2101 S Michigan because building staff and security is very helpful and respectful. The environment is always very clean. I like the incentive program they have set up.
I've enjoyed my time staying here. The staff, maintenance and front door man are very helpful. Very convenient to shops, places to eat and a nice school!
I like it here so far! Staff are friendly and maintenance is quick to help with any problems. Residents are kind. Walls are quite soundproof, I can barely hear my roommate's TV, let alone any noise from neighbors. I'm happy with my choice to live here.
I love my apartment just wish I had a washer and dryer in my unit. Everything else is great. I love living here and the staff is great. I wish they had a great deal with parking for our guests whenever they decide to come over and visit us
Great experience living here for over 20 years. Perfect neighborhood and friendly neighbors that look out for each other. Excited to see even more developments
I really like my apartment, the location of the building is good for transportation but I noticing that the carpet is not being cleaned like it use to be; stains on certain floors and also the windows need washing on the outside.
Great building with great staff! I felt welcome from the moment I moved in. The amenities are great and everyone who works here has been so friendly. They learned my name immediately!
After a long wait, I just moved into my gorgeous one bedroom apartment and I am very happy being there. Tia and Jalisa were very patient with me and I thank God for them.
My overall experience here after a decade has been made a true pleasure due to the current building manager and her staff. The maintenance people are one in a million.i had a neighbor who was so inconsiderate who played music so loud that it was ridiculous. That person has since moved somewhere thank goodness. Other than that things are going good.
Have to get use to the outside noise other than that I love that everything is near. Playgrounds , dog parks , multiple daycares , grocery stores and many other fun activities close by.
I love being here everything is within walking distance to me. I can walk to the corner store. Fast food, train station what not to love about living here I would definitely tell my friends and family to move over here
I love that this community has everything in it. You can walk and not take public transportation. I love that this building has a laundry room, workout area, Media area, and a place to interact with the other tenants in the building.
I have no hot water pressure in my kitchen and the elevators are consistently broken which is a majorly problem for seniors and disabled. Disruptive and rude neighbors and neighborhood has a lot of problems
It is still a good place to live Upkeep is excellent . Management addresses the residents and really cares I know this to be Friendly helpful neighbors
I'm grateful to have this experience and start a new chapter in my life with my daughter. We love it here and everything is convenient, from the stores and to being right downtown.
It has been a good experience so far! I've been here six months and now it seems like the time is moving so fast but it's been quite pleasant!
Overall pretty good. Staff are very friendly. The neighborhood feels very safe and has many things to try. I would definitely rate the overall community a 10/10 thus far.
I love the community and to have full access the amenities and places outside of the residence. I only wished that parking is included in our rent ??
I've enjoyed living here. Jalisa was really great and helpful! She made my move easy and stress free. I love the location and the view. Management is awesome. Maintenance is knowledgeable and friendly. Facilities are always clean and neat.
I’ve been residing at 2101 s Michigan Ave since March of last year and I have adjusted and I love the experience I have had a chance to experience living in a high rise building..The best thing I like is the view..the tenants are respectful.I stay to myself and I’m in/out..some things can be better but for the most part it’s okay
A lot of things have changed since moving in, some in not so positive ways. The staff is good to work with and they try their best to make sure that the residents are happy. The elevators still suck, but any real problem with the building has to do with the tenants.
Living in this community has been a wonderful experience. It has always been great to live among people who respect and are considerate of their neighbors.
I've been enjoying, living at this location for some years now. The atmosphere and the energy, To much fun So little time in an day. To explore whats going on in the summer. From this short winter we had, it should be loads of happy spirits and dining to get into!. the building staff work hard, at maintaining everyday mundane issues. Property management are Phenomenal at keeping everyone involved, and in the know!. I'm outing, and love to work! Hope I don't miss much.??
All is well at this location. The staff is wonderful, the area is great, my neighborhood is okay and my neighbors are respectful. I'm very comfortable here.
I do have some noisy neighbors and at times it can be very disruptive. Neighborhood is not all that convenient for my situation as I am in a wheelchair. Buses are close though so this helps!
Loving it here. Love the fun perks for residents and excited to enjoy more fun community events in the future. The building and landscape is being kept up well also
I loved living here so far! Staff is very nice and the apartment size is nice for how close it is to the loop/Chinatown. Public transit near too!
Jalisa was really great, she made my move easy and stress free. I love the apartment, minus a few maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, which was not pleasing. Altogether, beautiful views of the city and pretty quiet.
I've enjoyed staying at this location, I'm glad my daughter Has grown up in this community! There has been great changes that makes it wonderful....
My abode at 2101 South Michigan Avenue is enjoyed by a quiet, peaceful, clean, and friendly environment. Good location, good neighbors, good God!
2101 has a management team that changes very often. All of whom have been unprofessional and likely have zero regard for renters rights. On our last month of our lease, for which we only spent 5 days living in the building and were quoted to be charged for 11 days (and gave proper notice), we were charged for a full months worth of rent. Once I informed them of this inaccurate and unauthorized charge, they refused to refund it until we were to receive our security deposit back... UP TO 45 days later. Especially at a time where individuals are hurting to make ends meet and a majority are unemployed, they have no regard or consideration for their tenants. Only the money. I would highly not recommend.
THERE'S people living in this building smoke drugs of all KINDS and CIGARETTES COMPLIANTS to MANAGEMENT has gone UNRESOLVED. What's the point of signing a NO SMOKING ADDENDUM . TIME TO MOVE!!!.. IF YOU HAVE BREATHING DIFFICULTIES THIS BUILDING IS NOT FOR YOU ??? *WARNING*
This building is infested with bed bugs!!!! I moved in last month and purchased a brand new mattress, box spring, couch, and furniture. A couple of days ago they had inspectors come in to check for bed bugs. My mattress was completely infested after living here for only a month! Couches are also infested to the point where when you sit down they crawl on you even when the lights are on. I did not read any reviews of the building before I moved in which I now regret considering I just signed a 1 year lease... After speaking to some of the other tenants it is clear that this is a building wide infestation. Management did not warn me at all when I moved in which is very unethical. DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT BED BUGS.
Ive been living here for an year now, its so convenient and relaxing, sunny 2 bedroom apartment, building laundry and parking inside building, transportation isnt a problem at all here, from taxis to buses to trains, markets there is one at the end of the block, down town less than 15 mins with the bus, building management is amazing, 24 hr secuirty, and the prices compared to the neighborhood around are so convenient
