About This Home

12 Month Lease, $1,400 deposit, Available Apr 1

This private studio is a beautiful, light, and airy loft with views of the Columbia River and the PDX Airport to the south and a cozy, peaceful English-garden-like backyard to the north. It is located within a quiet, historic 1929 home with really beautiful common spaces, including a full kitchen with a ton of light and character and the laundry room located in the basement. There is room for parking for the tenant and for having guests when needed. The loft originally was a cabin space for a wealthy family in the 30's, so the huge open space with plenty of unique nooks makes for a very customizable living space. We are obsessed with the loft as it has some of the most epic light and views in the whole house. The monthly rent for the private Riverview studio is $1400, utilities included. The first month's rent and a security deposit of $1400 are due upon signing. Lease terms available are 3 months, 6 months, or 8 months. Available for immediate move-in upon approval. The neighborhood is stunningly quiet since most of the neighbors are retired. There is a paved sidewalk across the street that leads to a nature preserve, Biddle Lake, and walking trails that go along the river so you get views along the walk. It’s a quick hop onto Highway 14 (about half a mile up the road), so there is easy access to Portland, downtown Vancouver, East Vancouver, and Camas/Washougal. David and Jessica (the landlords) live on the opposite end of the home. It feels much like completely separate quarters. Please note as a heads up: we have a little daughter born last year (2024), so you may occasionally hear some baby sounds! For work, David is in the AI industry as a researcher and works from coffee shops in the morning and at home during afternoons. Jessica is a hairstylist who owns a studio downtown. When not working downtown, she's home with our daughter during the day. Cats are not permitted, but hypoallergenic dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Studio amenities include a desk, queen bed, couch, mini fridge, portable heaters, microwave, and river views. House amenities include a beautiful vintage shared kitchen, peaceful backyard, parking, and access to the walking path along Old Evergreen Highway overlooking the Columbia River. Showings available upon request.

2103 SE 99th Ct is a house located in Clark County and the 98664 ZIP Code. This area is served by the Evergreen School District (Clark) attendance zone.

City - Vancouver

On the north bank of the Columbia River, separating Washington from Oregon, lies Portland’s largest suburb and the fourth largest city in Washington: Vancouver. This riverfront retreat is filled with a rich history, abundance of shopping, outdoor recreation, and a family-friendly atmosphere. With excellent public schools like Hudson Bay High School, families flock to this thriving suburb. There are more than enough community parks to keep outdoor lovers content, including Vancouver Lake Regional Park, LeRoy Haagen Memorial Community Park, Orchards Community Park, Esther Short Park and Playground, and Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, a fisherman’s oasis.

Interstates 5 and 205 run directly through town, connecting Vancouver to Portland, so commuting is a breeze – not to mention Vancouver is just across the river from the Portland International Airport.
