Property Ratings at 2150 Apartments
Scorpion infested from all corners of my place. Scorpions will fall out of air vents throughout the day (thank goodness for my cat). This management has been absolutely horrible. Zero communication and they do not give a crap about the residents. CONSTANT loud construction and they tow cars even if you have your pass in the front window. I have lived in 8 apartments around this area and this is BY FAR the absolute worst.
I lived there in 2022 and here is my experience: MG property had just recently acquired this complex when I Moved-in and no wonder why the management SUCKED!!! When I moved- in not only the place was not cleaned, there was urine all over the bathroom. The place was so dirty, it took us one full day to scrub and clean. It was the perfect first impression. Honestly disgusting. There was pet hair all over the carpet and the apartment... When I contacted the property manager, Julia to have someone clean the place, she said it will take 2 days.. Not even in 2 days anyone showed up... On top of this, when I moved out they wanted to charge me for cleaning fee and fee to replace a carpet in the room when it had just been replaced a month before and was impeccably clean.. I refused to pay and they have sent the bill to collection agency. Worse Property Manager & expected more from MG properties... Stay Away!!!!!
Hi, I haven't experienced this kind of community ever, very bad and not safe to stay. A lot of bugs, scorpions, and cockroaches here. There is no peace of mind and if we complain to management, they won't take any action, They used to tell take pest control every week that's it.
Absolutely the worst apartment I have ever lived in, something was always wrong from the disposal messed up or ac was out, something leaking. Then the two week wait for someone to come fix it, don't move here waist of money, and there's much more affordable nicer options around chandler area
Horrible walk through experience. The front office staff won’t even walk you to the apartment, they give you the option but insist you go yourself as they take 5 steps outside and point you in the direction to find yourself. What’s even more disappointing is that when i came back they were all eating lunch, which is why i was pretty much shoved away and sent on my own from the start. Didn’t even go over pricing or details, just wrote it down and handed it to me. The actual apartment that was available for walk through was a complete dump. Baseboards off the wall, not clean whatsoever, etc… then ON TOP OF THAT they want $800 in non refundable pet fees for 2 dogs. Not even worth a walk through cause the experience from the start clearly showed this complex has poor management/poorly ran. DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME. Quality doesn’t match price point clearly.

Our team is incredibly sorry that you had a less then amazing tour with our staff. I have spoken with the person you worked with and she felt absolutely terrible that she missed the mark on meeting your needs. This is never our intention and we are disappointed that you felt this when visiting us. Due to COVID, we always ask our customers what they would prefer when it comes to in-person tours and if you are comfortable with us giving you a guided tour, we will always accompany you on one. We did have a staff member that needed to take a lunch break but the other team member would have loved to sit with you and go over anything you needed at that time. Our staff is trained to always put customer service first and I hope we can resolve any misunderstanding that may have happened. Again, we apologize that you had this experience or we gave off any impression other then welcoming you to our community. Please feel free to reach out to me personally so I can try to better your experience. I would love to answer any questions or concerns you have and I truly hope we can improve your impression of our community if given the chance.
This place is dirty, drug infested, and poorly run. Was without a washer and dryer for 7 weeks. Their solution was to open up another apartment down the way to let us use. However, the apartment was obviously an ex-drug/meth lab. Smelled like drugs and was dirty. Really? You want us to use an ex-meth lab to do laundry in? Stay away from this place. Horrible ownership and poorly run. Felt bad for the one good person in the office, but stay away....

Thank you for sharing all of your concerns and we completely understand that appliance issues can be very frustrating. I can assure you that my team and I take maintenance requests like this as a top priority. We always want to do whatever we can to solve the problem quickly. Your particular washing machine was less than 3 years old so it was important that we make an effort to repair the relatively newer appliance. During the 7-week period we were able to repair it twice before we ultimately made the choice to replace the unit all together. When we order parts or new appliances, we have to work with outside suppliers and hope they have these items in stock. Unfortunately, due to the nationwide shortages for a lot of these items it did take longer than we have seen in the past. We always make it our goal to try to find solutions in these situations such as allowing the resident to use a vacant apartment or switching the machines if it can be done safely. We also make sure to do full inspections of all apartments right after someone moves out as well as right before the next resident moves in. I looked into this and I do not have any record or report of the unit you referred to being in this condition. We absolutely take things like that very seriously and if we had discovered that or been notified of such things, we would have reported it to the local authorities immediately. I truly am sorry that your experience was anything short of excellent and we always ask that residents communicate these items to us promptly so we can resolve them as quickly as possible.
The community appears to be clean, well maintained and over-all, pretty decent. That description and those feelings lasted all of about one week. This apartment community is disgusting. That word doesn't even accurately or entirely describe my experience here. The large trash receptacles appear to be more of a dump site then a trash bin. Rarely, and I do mean rarely can you even get close enough to put your bag in the bin.... and yes, there is usually room in the trash bin, it's just that people choose not to place their trash inside. Trash and furniture are literally scattered in the vicinity day in and day out. The trash guy snaps photos before dumping the bins, limiting his liability for leaving the stuff on the ground. I've watched him do this. Currently, what inspired this review, is the fact that as I type, I am looking at a mattress and boxes and trash laying in the green space just out my back patio. No, that is not a trash area... but that's what people do here. I've witnessed, on multiple occasions, 2 of the 3 maintenance guys vaping or smoking vape pipes while on the job... heck, while driving the golf cart and prior to entering people's apartments for maintenance requests. I know what vaping is and they are in fact vaping. Also, there are about 5 stray cats and about 8 stray kittens that roam the grounds. People are putting piles of cat food under the bushes surrounding the walking paths. There are people here that scream and shout while having domestic disputes. There are people here that drive very fast in the parking lot. There are people here that play extremely loud music from their vehicles. Last week I saw a car with the window shattered onto the ground. The front pool is clean about half the time, the pool to the rear even less. The secure gate in the rear is rarely operable and not secure. They charge you to receive packages, and then they turn around and delay the package delivery by an additional day while they process it and notify you themselves. The utilities are extremely high as they pass the sprinkler bill on to the residents in the form of a $30 "C.A.M." fee, which doubles your water/garbage bill. They charge you a $7 cable fee even though that has nothing to do with the cable company or their fees. The maintenance guys are nice but cannot remedy many general issues. After failed maintenance attempts, I opted not to call them back and to just live with the issue. KEEP LOOKING

we're sorry to hear your time with us has not been the positive experience we aim to provide. Our team strives to maintain our community and apartment homes and it's disappointing to know we've missed the mark during your time with us. Please visit the office at your convenience so we may address any maintenance requests and work toward improving your experience in our community. Thank you.
I would not recommend this apartment, within the first few weeks of living there I was stung by a scorpion and despite having a pest control person come we continued to have issues with scorpions and other pest. Maintenance requests take a long time to be fulfilled. We were without a dishwasher for a month and the drum in the laundry washer ripped up a blanket and several sheets and that took a while to be repaired as well. Along with a mysterious leak that occurred multiple times in the living room from a neighbor wall that was never resolved. Upon moving out do not bother cleaning your apartment, despite giving the entire place a thorough cleaning we were still charged $100 for cleaning of the apartment even though the lease says you should only be charged if damages above normal wear and tear or cleaning charges are incurred. So, you could give it the best clean of your life and they'll charge you regardless. Since my lease ended around New Year’s Eve there wasn't anyone there to do the walk through so make sure adequate time is available if the walk through will even matter. Be prepared to be charged for touch up paint as well once again even if you ensure everything looks good. If you intend to receive packages from Amazon prime you will be charged a monthly fee for those packages to be delivered to a box in the front office. Lastly, you will be charged for the last two months of utilities after you move out. It's not well stated at move in or even in the lease for that matter, but their utilities fees run two months behind and on a 3-bedroom apartment run an average of $85 a month; $32.95 in common area maintenance, $5 service fee, $9 in trash, water and sewer fluctuate from there and are split with other apartments.

Good Afternoon, We are sorry that we have not met your expectations, We wish we could have the chance to turn this around for you. If you would like to discuss my door is always open. Thank you
MANAGMENT DOES NOT CARE. They are so unorganized and have no protocol so work orders don’t get fixed unless you call repeatedly. They don’t actually fix anything and say they’ll be back but never refturn. AC hasn’t worked properly for over a year. Did I mention MANAGEMENT IS DISRESPECTFUL. Now it’s time to move out and after reviewing my statement over the past year I see they have been charging me for something I went in to cancel. They said they don’t have any proof but I watched the women write it down myself and I’m almost positive they have cameras so they can review the tapes but refuse to. It’s not my fault she didn’t submit it properly. I did exactly as they asked me to do if I wanted to cancel. I can go on and on about the problems with this place. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in.

This apartment complex is so bad I feel it's my obligation to leave reviews. 4 different complexes I've lived in and this takes the cake as the absolute worst place I've ever lived. Management openly does not care about you. Put in a call for anything to get done and they will never follow up on it, ever. Scorpions in your kitchen, your bathroom, and your clothes. They don't care. Appliances break, not their problem. Seriously, run far away from here.

Please know, we care deeply for each and every resident of our community and regret that you received the opposite impression. Our dedicated maintenance team works hard to ensure everything within our homes is up-to-date and in working order. However, they cannot fix problems unless made aware of them through a work order. Maintenance requests can be completed through our online resident portal found here: http://www.2150arizonaavesouth.com/apartments/az/chandler/residents. You may call the office or log into the portal to check on the status of a pending request. We would love the opportunity to improve your experience here and provide you with the 5-star service we know we are capable of delivering. Please call the office at your earliest convenience and schedule an appointment to speak with management directly. Thank you. We look forward to hearing from you.
No sense of customer service. I was really excited about this place...first the engineering. Closet doors are wrong size for hall closets, dishwasher is too close to stove and doesn't open all the way, drywall holes, and the laminate floors are uneven everywhere. The contract: well...have an attorney ready if you don't read every word of agreements becayse they have exceptions to everything they list. I've had to turn off my auto pay feature because my rent changes every month. All in all after 5 months...i can't believe I have 7 more to go.

Please feel free to come to the office at your earliest convenience so that we can make this right moving forward. We appreciate your feedback.
This place is ridiculous and the management / owners are GREEDY! First, they will charge you CAM fees, yes you heard that right, Communal Area Maintnance fees ON TOP of your regular rent? CAM fees are normally used for commercial properties, think strip malls where each business has a common interest in maintaining the entire property. CAM fees are NEVER applied to residential properties. WHAT IS MY NORMAL RENT PAYING FOR IF NOT MAINTENANCE??? Nice way to pass on literally EVERY expense of maintaining the property, which is normally a part of your regular rent, to the residents. I pay for water/sewage/trash as I should but now they want me to pay for things MY RENT should ALREADY pay for! Plus there is dog crap EVERYWHERE!!! Clearly they don't pick it up since it's is all over the place... Next, I just received a notice that they will start charging the residents to receive packages that are larger than our tiny mail boxes. They used to put the packages in a locked room and you would have to go to the office during regular business hours and sign out that you received it, like EVERY OTHER apartment I have ever lived at. I have NEVER had to pay to receive my mail, ever. They pretend as if they are doing their residents a favor to hire some 3rd party middle man to accept our packages in a locker on the property we can access 24/7. THIS ISNT A 'FAVOR' WHEN IT'S A MANDATORY FEE!! The letter was so condescending as well, look, Im not stupid, this is a cash grab plain and simple, there is literally no need for such a service UNLESS you want to nickel and dime your residents to earn a few more bucks per month. Listen to this, they want to charge an initial $20 fee for signing up to receive YOUR OWN MAIL, yes you read that correcty, YOUR OWN MAIL, then $7.11 PER MONTH just to get your packages if they don't fit in your mail box. Don't receive packages ever? Still gotta pay the fee... Guess what, if you are a few days late retrieving your package from the mail box locker you are charged an ADDITIONAL $3.00 PER DAY until you retrieve your package from the locker. Best part, as a resident I have NO CHOICE, they are FORCING me to sign up for this 'service' if I want to be able to receive packages to my address here, my own mail! GREEDY management / owners! Convenient that they roll out this mandatory fee RIGHT as the holiday season starts and mail shipments increase....

I'm from AZ and have never had a problem with scorpions being inside my homes. The first time I found a scorpion, I asked the office staff if this was a problem here, I was told "no, they have not heard of any complaints". 6 months later I still come across them. This weekend we had 6 in the apartment (4 in the living room, one in a bathroom and the other in my daughters closet), now weekends are used to hunt scorpions. I requested my apartment to be sprayed, still unsure if the pest company has stopped by. This is not a new build so it bothers me that management has not took the time to deal with this problem. On top of this the community fee was also a shocker, I'm sure it's tucked away deep in the lease, but $30 for the swimming pool and other common areas is excessive, I don't see those areas as well kept. Kids tore up the basketball hoops at one point, just backboards were left. After that, the place is okay, you can hear your neighbors music and mumbled conversations (if your place is quite), but I'm just guessing that's common in close living areas. If the scorpion problem was resolved, it would not be so bad.

AC broke for 5 days . Management office never answers the phone and when you talk to them they are mean they change management personal often . They do not return calls if you leave a message. Be careful with the lease read it carful they charge you 300 to 400 dlls if you are 1 day late . pool and sap breaks all the time no control over where to park you came alter 6 pm no parking close your apartment

Its nice but management could be better i dont feel appreciated as a resident when i pay rent early every month and never have any complaints
I have found scorpions, black widows, roaches and crickets in the apartment. Took two months after talking to 3 different staff for management to send a company to spray. Didn't solve the problem. AC ran for 2 months without turning off. After complaining over and over and telling them they need to pay for my electric bill did they finally fix the AC. Management office never answers the phone. They do not return calls if you leave a message. There is no shelves in the units.
Apartments poorly built, apartment staff not vey helpful. Would not recommend this apartment as a home to anyone.
