Property Ratings at 21825 Heather Acres Dr
I stayed in this apartment for 3 years and recommended my friends too. Matter of fact I got them 4 of my friends( 2 still being the resident), at the end they blamed for the stains and burns on the carpet which was already there before I moved in. They didn't return my deposit. I don't want anyone to be the next victim. Oh also, they keep raising the rent almost every year. If you're Heather Acres employee, I'm sorry. I'm just saying the truth and you should know me. Inbox me if yo I'll have something to say.
The complex was built between the 60s to the 90s, so the buildings are older and need frequent maintenance. That said, the staff is very responsive to maintenance requests and are always nice to work with. I believe the lower rent prices compared to the rest of the area reflect the need for the upkeep. Don’t expect the Taj Mahal or the Ritz, but the apartments are comfortable, maintained, good-sized and the area is very safe and well located between Fort Drum and Watertown. I was here for a year and would recommend it to others who are looking for a good deal.
Horrible service , horrible management , just terrible. They will steal your money , STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ! TRUST ME ITS A BAD IDEA.

I am sorry that you had a terrible experience in our community. We are under new ownership and management. I have only been here a couple of months and If you were a tenant and had issues, I wish you would have notified me of the issue and with whom and maybe the issue could of been resolved. I do apologize and good luck with your next rental company.
This is the perfect complex if you want to be close to the city of Watertown, and it's amenities, but not be right inside the city limits. Most of the complex is back enough from Route 3 so that you can't hear the traffic going by. The buildings are kept nice by the management, and maintanence staff. It is a family friendly and safe complex for both military and civilian a like. The best part of the whole thing is the rents that they charge. From what I have seen and heard, from others in the area, the rents are among the cheapest in the Watertown area.
