For example credit card debt. If everything looks good then the property can be locked in with a $1000 deposit (this $1K deposit is optional not required), this money goes towards your first months rent. If the $1,000 deposit is paid showing you're serious and not going to back out I shut down all my advertisements and cancel all pending walk-throughs and applicants and the place is yours. If you change your mind on renting after paying the deposit it is not refunded. I do allow pets but there is a monthly pet fee.
