Property Ratings at 2245 Beverly Glen Blvd.
I called and scheduled a tour. Rearranged my whole day. Came there and the person said he had no availability and nothing to show you. Place was old , outdated and smelly. At that point I saw everything I needed to see. Very disappointed.
I've lived here for the last year and am moving out when my lease ends. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything happening in the apartments around you. The building's fire alarm has gone off, without cause, multiple times since I have been a resident - one time forcing the entire building to evacuate at 3am. We were never given explanations for the alarms. The building's management is unresponsive to complaints - they rarely answer the phone, take days to respond to emails, and have used covid19 as an excuse to never be physically present in the office. It's ridiculous how difficult it is to contact them. If you're calling about signing a lease, however, they're extremely easy to contact. Priorities are clear. What else? The vent fans in the bathrooms are so loud that when the tenant in the apartment below you takes a shower, your entire bathroom will vibrate. I was once locked out of the building at 1am when my key fob stopped working, and it took over two hours for the 24 hour emergency maintenance crew to arrive in order to unlock the door. Other items...let's see....the building will perform extremely loud maintenance items during the day during the week, which are so loud they prevent you from being able to work from home. This building is terrible. Oh yeah, another item - the single elevator is out of service almost as often as it's actually working. I hope you don't have limited mobility, like I did when I broke my leg last year and had to go up and down the stairs with my leg in a cast. Also, when I moved in, the mail room was locked (you had to use a key to enter) and there was a sign stating that packages were not to be left in the mail room, they are to be brought to the office. Since moving in, the mail room has become unlocked (anybody can enter) and the sign concerning package deliveries has been removed - now our package deliveries are simply piled up outside the elevator, completely unsecured, for anybody to walk by and grab.
Great place to live. Conveniently located to the Century City Mall! It doesn't get any better than this. The new manager Suzy is wonderful. Close to my work and living in a beautiful community. Can't get any better than this.
