I have lived at 225 N Calvert for less than a month at this point. However I really appreciate the quick responses I’ve received to requests for repairs or other requests from the leasing staff. The building is also very well maintained and clean.

The apartment community is great. The staff is great. Building is usually always kept clean and there are always tons of resident events. I enjoyed living here truly. I would knock off 1/2 a star for the parking garage. There is no visitor parking or day passes to request so if you have someone staying the weekend expect the cost of them to park for that long to be about $80. Outside of that there grocery store is in walking distance (2 blocks away) the Harbor is 3 blocks away. And there’s easy access to the highway. It’s a great spot and not too much happens.

Move-in was a breeze. I was able to reserve the loading dock for move-in which was great. The freight elevator was large enough for everything I needed to move in. The residents were all nice and helpful during the move in process. After a month of living here and experiencing everything the building and the community has to offer, I'm super pleased with my experience here at 225 N. Calvert. There is so much to do in the local area that at times, I have to remind myself to slow down and enjoy what I have where I'm living. So far, this has been a lovely place to rest, relax, and rejuvenate during and after a long work week.

I stayed here for just under a year (‘22-‘23) and I enjoyed my time. I had a one bedroom with a Den and was able to get a good price on it. I don’t like that it’s dynamic pricing but if your move-in date is flexible, there are ways to take advantage of it and get a better price for yourself. I really appreciated the proximity to the Baltimore farmers market and had no major issues with amenities, but decided to move out due to the jump in rent renewal that I didn’t feel reflected the value of the building/unit. I wouldn’t necessarily reccomend this as a long term rental but think it’s a nice place to stay for a year or two while you look around.

Just moved in and so far it is what I expected, good and bad. The good is that it has great staff, amenities and is in a good location. Not to mention, I have one of the best views in the city. The bad is that being downtown, it's not ideal for larger animals and the dog park could use an upgrade. There is also plenty of street noise and even an outdoor club nearby that plays loud music late into the night. All in all, it may be the best option in the area and it suits my needs perfectly.

Overall, this apartment should cost less for what it is, but you do get a substantial amount of space for it. However, the space isn't used the most wisely. For example, the "walk-in" closets are absolutely not walk-in closets. There are also no lights in any of them. The appliances are also really outdated for what you pay to live here and about $55 are tacked onto your utilities bill per month regardless of usage. This is not totally uncommon, but was not the case at my previous apartment. Besides this, the biggest risk to living here is that the management may abruptly change the amenities offered to you with no notice or compensation. They could proudly advertise certain amenities during your tour, and only one month later get rid of them, such as the 24/7 concierge or a workout class in my case. I am still hoping the 24/7 concierge might come back or the hours can be further extended as this was a major reasons I moved here, but no such luck six months later. (Thankfully the workout class returned, only because the proposed replacement fell through.) The well-equipped gym is one of the nicest apartment features. Overall, if you are on a tight budget, there are probably better options out there, but if you have money to spare, enjoy having space, and live downtown, this is not a bad place to live.

Security and safety are my main concerns. We have had car break-ins and people posing as staff members sitting at the front desk. Greystar should implement identification badges so the residents can be confident about who they are. Also, there is a problem with pet owners allowing their pets to just urinate wherever they please on the P5 level. There is a pet area for that, not only everywhere on P5 but also in the elevator hallway of P5. When you get off the elevator, the scent of pet urine smacks you in the face. Management does nothing to correct this behavior.

This community is overpriced with basic amenities. For the price I pay for an apartment, you'd think there would be more, for example, valet trash, on-site security that responds, free events like yoga, community sponsored events, a quality staff.

Theres no free guest parking which makes it really inconvenient to be here as someone with friends that visit since nearby parking can be unavailable, time restricted, or wildly expensive. The garage is too expensive for me to comfortably let my friends come.

It's conveniently located at the heart of Baltimore, offering access to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and fitness centers. Its highlights are the staff, gym and access control. There are some drawbacks, particularly parking for those whom choose not to add parking to their lease. Yet, in hind sight, most people find solutions, that make up for it... In all, 225 N. Calvert offers suitable accommodations to those who intend for Short-term living (6-18 months).

I moved to Baltimore for school and I was not disappointed. The management here at 225 N Calvert has been EXCEPTIONAL. We have lived here for a little over a year. And they have handled the pandemic gracefully. Things were shut down for a while understandably so, but with the right precautions have allowed their residents to utilize amenities SAFELY. Every issue we have is immediately addressed. Security is impeccable. They are professional, kind, and do their job well. And the maintenance staff is AMAZING. They are efficient and also really nice! As with any large complex we get a few resident complaints here and there, but management is usually on top of that, too! It’s also extremely convenient having access to an attached garage. Tyler and Karen and the rest of the maintenance staff and security team have been AMAZING!!

I've been here for a year now, this is definitely the place to be. The staff/Management team are amazing. My neighbors are fantastic. The location was the biggest factor in deciding to move in this building and it exceeded my expectation. Everything is within walking distance. You will not be disappointed.

The staff at this apartment building are amazing! They are very professional and always have a friendly and professional attitude. They have helped me so many times with countless tasks since I signed my lease. I specifically need to call out Tyler and Karen for going the extra mile! Plus the building is so clean and state of the art, the rent is reasonable and the amenities are incredible. Definitely check this building out!
For me, it had to be love at first sight. During the application process and after the staff of 225 Calvert Street has been very helpful. Any time I need help with something the problem is addressed right away. I was really excited when I decided to go with the loft on the club level floor. The big windows and a perfect view of downtown was breathtaking. I'm really busy during the week so I'm not home during business hours. The staff will assist people when making furniture delivers or installments to your home without you being there. I'm in love with the gym, penthouse, and pool. The gym has everything in there I need to stay in shape with surround sound speakers that you can control with an app from your phone. The penthouse is really good for entertainment when I want to come out of my amazing apartment. The only concern I have with the apartment is the hotel within the apartment building. But I don't think hotel guest can get on residential floors without a key card. Another advantage of the hotel in the building is for family and friends. When they come to visit you can book a room for a discounted rate.
As a student, primary requirements during my apartment search were safety, great location, excellent amenities and helpful management. It has now been 3 months that I have been a resident here and 225 N. Calvert has exceeded my expectations. Everyone on the team is super awesome (I won't name anyone because everybody is super helpful and friendly), the events are great, the apartments are gorgeous, the appliances are spanking new and the community areas are clean and well-maintained. I absolutely love the view from the rooftop pool and the gym is my most favorite! I definitely plan to renew my lease and continue my stay here, till I am in Baltimore :) great job 225 team :)
After viewing quite a few properties in Baltimore I thought I was set on a community. I decided to look at one or two more places and I'm so glad that I did. The entire staff has been outstandingly helpful throughout the application and move-in process (especially Suzette!!!) and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The apartments are so spacious, huge balcony, and a very modern/contemporary design (if you prefer clean lines and sleek, you'll love it). Brand new property and they are now working on the details/final touches that are sure to be a wonderful addition.
