Cleveland is a city where spirit meets sophistication, and nowhere is this dichotomy more on display than Downtown. This lakefront district packs a whole city’s worth of attractions and amenities into a fairly compact area, making it easy for folks to walk or bike anywhere quickly: to work, to get a bite to eat, to a ball game, even to catch a flight (Burke Lakefront Airport sits right on the shore of Lake Erie). Like many Midwestern cities, Downtown Cleveland features a skyline filled with grand architecture, from the historic public buildings to the vintage skyscrapers to the magnificent monuments dotting the landscape.
Quicken Loans Arena, FirstEnergy Stadium, and Progressive Field are all only a few blocks away from anywhere in Downtown, giving residents direct access to professional sporting events and major concerts year-round.

My fiancee and I have lived at 2320 Lofts for the past 3 years. The apartments are beautiful with high ceilings, historic charm, large windows, modern finishings. It has been so convenient to have secure garage parking under the building as well as a gym in the building. Not to mention that it is within walking distance to downtown! Dave and Karen have been the greatest landlords imaginable. My fiancee and I were in the process of buying a house which unfortunately fell through the night before closing, and after explaining the situation to Dave and Karen, they were kind enough to allow us to move into another unit in the building the same week because our previous lease was ending. They are always a text or call away and go above and beyond for their tenants. This has been an amazing place to live and I highly recommend 2320 Lofts.
I have nothing to complain about at 2320. Units are large, they have garage parking (not inexpensive), great location. Neighbors are nice. I chose this location due to the freeway access and I liked the building layout.
PROS: High-rise ceilings & large windows. Decent room sizes & living space. It is within walking distance to AsiaTown & CSU. Gated parking lot & garage parking is a MUST when living in Cleveland. An in-unit washer/dryer. Onsite resident manager; new RM from the prior in 2021. Maintenance is decent. I had a washer stop working & was able to get a new washer/dryer replaced within a few days as well as other maintenance requests were met in a timely manner. CONS: You will be paying more than your rent as utilities aren't included. Insulation in the units isn't too good during the winter, so you'll best believe you will turn the heat up or bundle up. THE WALLS ARE THIN! You'll be hearing noises & sounds from your unit neighbors. The "young professionals" that the landlord says live here are people who are either a few years out of college or actual college students. The latter contributes to the loud noises and behaviours in the hallways. For some reason, there were a few pest control situations in the building even though my unit was not greatly affected.
The only good reviews must be written by the management. Parking- Unless you can afford the garage fee, you must leave your car in the lot or street parking. Assume your car will get broken into 2-3x a year. Location- Close to downtown but far from the closest safe grocery store. Homeless shelters and lots of homeless walking around, you will get harassed. Not safe at night. Space - Lots of open space, but little to no closet/storage space. Small bedroom closets that are not completely enclosed so dust gets over everything. No jacket closet or shoe closet. Little kitchen counter space and storage Noise/Neighbors - The biggest problem. No insulation between units including between floors. I can hear everything going on in the neighboring units and upstairs. Most of the apartment is too loud to sleep or study in because of the neighbors or people yelling in the halls. The building is filled immature college students. Loud music and screaming all day. Asking the management to deal with it is useless. You will find trash, beer can/bottles everywhere. The hallways and elevators smell like a mixture of vomit, stale beer and cigarettes. The carpets are old and stained. Managements tries to cover them with a lot of mats. Overpriced- It is nearly the same price as renting an entire house 10 minutes away in Cleveland heights or Ohio city. Building Quality – Developers did a cheap job of converting this place. Cheap counters, flooring, lack of insulation, fixtures, no firewalls between units & overall very poor quality. There are holes in the windows. When it rains, water comes in the windows. Heating/cooling cost are crazy. The holes are so big that nearly twice a week, I find huge wasps and hornets that have sneak into the apartment through these cracks (I don’t open the windows because of the horrible garbage smell outside and the abandoned building next door that has several hives). It shouldn’t surprise you that the building is filled with spiders and bugs. Mail – I have had multiple amazon packages stolen. I have to have my packages dropped of at the Cleveland amazon store where I have to go to pick them up, defeating the whole point of amazon. Management – They lied to me when I visited here. They said the units were sound proof (huge lie). They said the building was mostly young working professionals (lie – mostly a dorm). The will say anything to fill the units and get you to sign the contract. Summary: go elsewhere…I can't wait to leave.
This place is a chic loft style apartment, that looks cool. However, the renovators did a clearly budget oriented job. Shelves do not have proper support, no molding leads to exposed under-flooring, and poor paint job. Worst part of this place is the insane amount of noise. There must be nothing between the walls. I can hear people pouring cereal in other apartments and crumpling paper. No conversation is private in this place. If one person is watching TV, everyone is at least listening to TV. They do nothing about people blasting music all day. Also, the common spaces smell horrible...like vomit and cigarette smoke. They don't care about maintenance issues. At best, they seldom respond to issues. The management does not give a crap about you once you sign a lease. You are just rent to them. There are much more affordable and better places to live. The only good reviews must be written by them. I was so happy to leave.
I have lived at 2320 for almost a year, and it's fair at best. The price you pay with enough roommates can make it affordable and there is plenty of space for everyone, however utilities can get costly. Heating and cooling a large space is expensive, but I figured this going in. My apartment is on the first floor so the windows don't open which is a main problem I have. I could have easily cut my A/C use in half if the windows could have been cracked. The apartment offers no amenities or community spaces. The location is not horrible but it is filled with homeless people. My car has been broken into twice parked right outside of the building. They have a free lot a few blocks away so that does solve the issue of break-ins but if you have guests they are supposed to park out front (where the break-ins happen. There is no package drop off so your mail could be sitting anywhere in the building which gets frustrating. The rooms are nice, and they are decently sound proof. Maintenance is also slow, but I have yet to find an apartment where they aren't slow. Overall the property is slightly overpriced (utilities included on top of rent) for what you get unless you have roommates. Try to avoid the first floor on the 24th side. Park in the lot or splurge for the garage. Management is iffy so hopefully you can avoid needing them. I personally will not be living here again but if you plan to, heed my advice. I will say it is one of the better options for students.
I have lived at 2320 Lofts for over a year now as a student attending Cleveland State and I love it! The building is beautiful and is incredibly quiet. I almost never hear any street noise which is a problem at many apartments around campus. The historical loft-style apartments are large and modern, yet old all at the same time. The available underground garage parking is a great option especially for Cleveland winters. As far as the management/ownership staff, they are very helpful and responsive to any issues. They are always easily reachable by email and there is also a resident manager who lives at the building who can be contacted by phone, even late on weekends. Another great perk for students or anyone living at the building is that during certain times (first week of classes, finals week, etc.) management will offer free food to the whole building. The quiet environment is great for both professionals and focused students alike. The building has a nice mix of both groups. Rent pricing is competitive at the building and seems to be less than many places near the campus district which is another major perk. Overall, the building has been an enjoyable experience for myself and most residents seem to be pretty satisfied with living there.
I have lived in 2320 for almost a year now and it has been the best experience with an apartment I have had since moving to Cleveland. Management is extremely helpful and kind, apartments are spacious and beautiful, and the huge windows are a plus. An elevator and an in-suite washer and dryer just add to the long list of wonderful amenities that are extremely hard to find in downtown Cleveland without breaking the bank. There is parking available for residence under the building as well as a parking lot located right down the street. There is a resident manager/security guard living on site which makes the apartment feel safe. I do not have enough wonderful things to say about 2320 Lofts. If you want an apartment you can brag to your friends about, 2320 is definitely the place for you! Can't wait to renew my lease!
