Tiny but serviceable and centrally located

Yes, this is your typical "shoebox" NYC apartment. It is actually a railroad flat-type apartment, whereby all the rooms follow after one another in a straight line like that of a railroad car - narrow and compact. Not for the faint of tight-quarters city living! This building is a turn-of-the-century tenement, typical in this area of Manhattan. Although space is at a premium, on the plus side, the heat and water pressure are great, the apartment has high ceilings, and the building's construction is solid, making it hard to hear your fellow neighbors. The block is quiet for the most part and centrally located to some great spots in the lower-east side of Manhattan, like Shake Shack in nearby Madison Square Park! Transport is abundant and you can catch the M23 crosstown bus and the 6 or R trains which are just a few blocks away. It's in an ideal location, making it a great find in a trendy neighborhood that you can call your home!
