The Loop serves as Chicago’s downtown district and is home to many of the city’s most famous landmarks: the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower), Buckingham Fountain, and City Hall, to name just a few. The skyline is dominated by skyscrapers representing well over a century’s worth of architectural designs and styles, from the earliest Victorian-era high-rises to ultra-modern glass towers and everything in between.
What’s it like to live in the Loop? The neighborhood is loaded with everyday attractions like the lakefront, which gives the neighborhood stunning waterfront views. The dining scene is incredible, with world-class food of every description readily available anywhere you look. The nightlife incorporates everything from dives and corner taverns to swanky nightclubs and cocktail bars. Renters pay a premium to live here, but they get to enjoy all the benefits of having the very best of Chicago right at their doorstep.

Property Ratings at 235 W Van Buren St
Award winning builder and architect Unbeatable location - just off major interstates and connected to best possible transit availability. Building has few amenities but assessments are low Excellently maintained and walk to the best attractions Chicago has to offer Love living here
I’ve lived here reluctantly for 5+ years. I would not recommend this building for an owner, investor, or tenant. Building management is just flat out bad. Fees and assessments are too high for what little amenities they do offer. The parking garage is a nightmare that is both dangerous to drive in and often not secure. Elevator banks routinely go down. Noisy pets left on balconies. Fire works and drones launched from balconies. Loud neighbors and thin walls. Everything is flimsy and cheaply built because this building was completed at the peak of the housing crisis. The one positive is the north facing units have a nice city scape view, but most likely the parking garage across the street will get sold soon and another tower will make this one selling point moot as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE It is a cheap place for a reason
There are no amenities, and the parking garage is terrible! Narrow lanes and if yu have a high spot, it takes forever to leave and get home?!
Modern apartments in the heart of downtown Chicago with spectacular skyline view that includes the Willis tower. Staff is helpful and maintenance of facilities is second to none. Easy access to I90, I94, Metra, and CTA trains. Lake Michigan, gyms, restaurants, plays & theater district, professional sports teams and an active night life are close at hand.
A well managed building with a great downtown Chicago loop location. One side of the building has a fantastic view of Chicago skyline. Pet friendly with nearby parks to walk your dog.
