Long description but comes with a lot of information. I am looking for a long term tenant that will keep an open line of communication with me and really care for this home like their own. Background check will be required. Please Note: A minimum credit score of 600 and a combined monthly income of at least 3x the rent is required to apply. We do not accept Section 8 vouchers for this property. 4 Bedroom, 2.5 bath single family home with 3 Car parking space.Finished Sun room porch where you have a almost a view of the street the house resides on and also a view of the street that runs adjacent to the main road which is a two way street. Half finished basement and unfinished attic could be used for storage. Backyard could be used to garden or possibly host small bbqs. Great community, on the outskirts of all the chaos. Short walk away from the 69th street terminal, even shorter walk to Millbourne station. Police are always nearby so considered a safe area, on the outskirts of the chaos aka Philly but close enough to visit where the commute to the city is nice and short. Upper Darby certainly has its rough patches but this area in particular is pleasant. It runs central to everything where you are less than 15 minutes to a major area such as university city, Chinatown, manayunk, Ardmore, City Ave, Drexel Hill, etc.. One nice part of this area is - that the street runs adjacent to 69th Market street where access is the train or terminal station aka Septa. is within walking distance so travel convenience is certainly not an issue. It’s also a block away from the major entry points to Philadelphia. The Neighbors are really great and watch over each other which gives a good sense of security and it’s on a street where cars do often pass by. Local park about a 8 min walk or about 5 blocks away. Close to rite aid, Dunkin’ Donuts, Bank of America, H&M,and other local stores. You can look up 69th street For list of store. There’s also H-Mart which has a small food plaza in case you wanted some authentic Eastern food, which is also about a 2 min drive away. Other great restaurants and eateries are on the same strip. Pretty diverse area, predominantly middle eastern, and Spanish. Like most places in Philly, wouldn’t recommend walking around at night, especially closer to 69th street, as the occasional city “crazies” would come out. Hope this information helps. The roof was repaired this year, the floors are all brand new throughout the house. Carpets are also from this year. All new windows throughout the house which should tell you that a lot of care and renovation went into this home. I’ve personally lived in this area for over 25 years of my life and have certainly seen the ups and downs of this area. There has been a number of commercial locations opening up such as the newly developed commercial plaza down the street (rumor of coffee shop, restaurants are forthcoming) plus ancillary CHOP (children hospital of Philadelphia) facility that is opening up on market street about a 3 min walk away. Local restaurants and access to small markets are just short walks away. As always, do your due diligence and serious inquiries only regarding the house. Note* If you haven’t rented a full home before it comes with additional set of responsibilities: in Renting a full home Tenant is accountable for snow shoveling and removal, maintaining grass (can negotiate this to incorporate into costs). A washer and dryer & a refrigerator will be provided at the time of renting, HOWEVER any damages to these machines will NOT be fixed or replaced and tenant will be held accountable. Failure to fix or replace will be deducted from the deposit. Renters insurance is required by tenants.
