Colorful, active, dynamic, energetic, diverse – all of these apply to West Campus, and with its large amount of students in the neighborhood, it’s easy to see why. The brightly-painted buildings, the trendy little pizza joints, and even the amount of bicycles in the area help define this neighborhood as a haven for University of Texas-Austin students. But even if you aren’t a student, this neighborhood is terrific – there are plenty of apartments to choose from, the housing stock is diverse, and the location is ideal.
West Campus extends from Lamar Boulevard to “the Drag,” or Guadalupe Street. The Drag is where you’ll find a wide selection of shops, restaurants, and bars. These include local favorites like Cabo Bob’s, Halal Bros, the Spider House Café and Ballroom, and Kerbey Lane Café. On the west side, things are a little quieter with Pease Park and the Shoal Creek Greenbelt framing the area.

Property Ratings at 2400 Nueces
The apartment was available on their website but it was not. You fill out the application online and can kiss your $300 goodbye. They don't return the $250 service fee, even though the apartment is not available and thus they don't provide any service associated with the lease.
Even 1 star is not deserved for this complex. If you want to live in an apartment where you will get yelled at by the staff...come sign here! I pay over 70$ a month for parking and I get towed from my own parking garage and have to pay 265$ to get it out. The first two months I have lived here the parking garage was "motion censored" so that anyone could get in, safe right? I have had fellow classmates who don't live here come in and out of the parking garage with no trouble. They finally fixed this a couple months into my lease. Cars have been parking illegally in the garage for months, but no sign of any tow trucks. Finally, I go down and ask to speak to a manager, and the staff goes in the back to speak to someone and comes out saying there is no manager. Five minutes after explaining my frustration, a manager comes out and then has the audacity to YELL at me. Why was the manager so against speaking to me? Because he knew there was something wrong with the system and could not explain it to the resident himself? I have been living here for almost 4 months now, most of them were me (a young 19 year old girl) parking in a garage that was not safe, and once they enforced it, I am stuck paying 265$ to get my car back. Parents if you want to send your kids to live in an apartment with a rude and unhelpful staff, and unsafe parking garages....this is the place for you!

2400 Nueces has the best location in West Campus. It is a new complex with a beautiful pool, courtyard, and gym. The complex is very safe and the units are modern with stainless steel appliances. The units are pricier and rooms are smaller compared to other apartments, but I believe it's worth it due to the location and amenities. This is a great complex for students attending the University of Texas.
