Property Ratings at 2426 Blaisdell
They allow outside contractors to enter apts without supervision, Just given the keys to come in. Don't tell you they have been in the apt, you just kind of find out when you see something has been done.
Terrible management. They are extemely irresponsible, rude, worst customer service. They do not contact you to let you know the status of your application, they’re always closed, they never answer the phone. Would not recommend to anybody.
No garage parking since September of 2018. No walk-in closets. No manager onsite. No clubhouse in the building. No dishwashers. Onsite laundry is not sufficient for building size – 2 washers and 2 dryers for 36 units. Laundry room is not accessible by the elevator due to parking garage being closed. Often machines are broken, so you have to take laundry to a laundromat. The entry ways are not controlled. People often block doors open for hours at a time, including people who work for the management company. Door entry system at the front door does not work. Elevator often breaks down. It also stops on every floor, no matter what button you push. Management will not renew leases. After the first 1 year lease, they will insist you stay on a month to month lease. This is so that they can raise rent prices frequently. When you call for a repair in your apartment, you will not be given notice of when the repair will take place. Repair people, even if they are from an outside company, will be given the keys to your apartment and will enter your apartment without supervision from management or notification. The area in the back of the building does not get cleared of snow and ice in the winter – this makes it treacherous just to take out the trash. Heat is supplied by a boiler. It will often reach 80 degrees or warmer in the winter months, even though you set the thermostat at 72. Windows ice over and freeze shut.
