The Point Hueneme Light doesn't resemble the typical lighthouse. While there has been a lighthouse here since 1874, the current lighthouse was built in 1940 -- in the art deco style popular at the time. The lighthouse features a promenade that provides terrific views of two historic sites, the 1872 Wharf and the Oxnard Packing House.
