Ephraim is a small suburban town in Sanpete County. The neighborhoods are calm and quiet most of the year. The community is extremely close-knit and enjoys the natural areas found in and around town by participating in outdoor recreation. Ephraim is right next to the picturesque Manti-La Sal National Forest, a year round park perfect for camping, hiking, scenic drives, and cross-country skiing. Canyon View Park is another hometown favorite featuring a river and fishing access, pavilion, playground, volleyball court, and rolling hills perfect for sledding in the winter. If you’re looking for even more fun in town, catch a blockbuster in an old-fashioned cinema at Towne Theater or hit a strike at Snow Cap Lanes.
Known as Utah’s heart of Scandinavia, the town is extremely proud of its roots. In 1847, settlers constructed a fort that eventually became Ephraim.
