Management Responsive; Overall Kind

Overall, we like our new building. It is dog and cat-friendly. At first though I was concerned that it was only superficially dog-friendly because other people were moving out and making a racket. Our dogs hadn't adjusted to the new place, so of course they were stressed out that it sounded like someone was breaking down a wall. This resulted in a dramatic email from management which basically gave me a headache for half a week worrying about our dogs making any doggish noise at all. I thought that could have been handled better by management-- it was a little too dramatic for a minor complaint about a short-term issue. Once the people weren't making tons of loud noise, neither were our dogs, so the issue was easily resolved. Overall, management takes care of maintenance issues in a timely manner. The maintenance guys seem pretty nice-- one befriended one of our dogs right away. Our one current gripe is that the pipes seem to get patched up in sections as they break. We've gotten the impression from the frequency that the plumbing may need a general overhaul due to age. Hopefully we won't have to experience the drama of pipe issues directly (as opposed to our water getting shut off for a night & morning because of someone else's).
