The 2300 square foot home has been divided into three apartments, and this one is the largest and most luxurious. It has 1000 square feet of living space, two bedrooms, and two baths. The front door opens into the impressive living room, which features 10 foot ceilings, picture rails, and beautifully restored plaster walls. The formal dining room can either serve it's original purpose, or as the second bedroom. It also has 10 foot ceilings and the same finishes as the living room. The original butler's pantry has been retained, but now features a 3/4 bath in addition to it's built in cabinetry. The kitchen has been completely renovated with custom cabinetry, built to match the remaining original cupboards. We used marmoleum for the countertops, which is a environmentally responsible and period correct product, and even added a kitchen island with a dishwasher. The original brick walls were carefully exposed, then re-pointed and sealed. The stove is a great 1950's General Electric push button range, and works perfectly. The master bedroom is located in the back of the apartment, and has it's own bathroom and claw foot tub and shower. This house was completely renovated ten years ago, and the attention to detail is quite impressive. All the original douglas fir floors were refinished, and the plaster walls were restored with a period correct smooth finish. The entire house was completely rewired to modern specifications, and a european style mini-split air conditioner units was installed for efficient heating and cooling. The plumbing has been replaced, and upgraded with an efficient, on-demand tankless water heater All of the original sash windows were completely disassembled and restored by a master carpenter, so they open and close with ease. We even restored the original screen doors. All of the light fixtures are period correct antiques, re-wired by a local specialist. The apartment has a large, secure rear yard, with plenty of room for entertaining, parking, or pets. A shared washer and dryer is provided and maintained free of charge. This apartment has two reserved covered parking spots, located in the rear yard with a rolling gate for security. Tenant pays electric, plus $30 per month towards water/sewer/trash. Well behaved and loved pets are welcome, with an additional $200 per pet refundable deposit. We do charge a $40 per person application fee, and all tenants must pass a credit, eviction, and background check. $1245 due at lease signing. This includes a $200 non-refundable cleaning fee, a $250 non-refundable leasing fee, and a $795 refundable security deposit.
