If you’re looking for a positive community, look elsewhere
Mixed experiences for this building. Front desk, maintenance and cleaning staff is wonderful. Management is mediocre at best — more interested in ensuring that this building is considered boutique with non-stop superficial upgrades rather than helping to create a community. (eg residents have been asked to police other residents and report to management.) Chronic plumbing problems (eg serious leaks that run the length of the building when it rains heavily) plague many units so be sure to ask before signing a lease. For whatever reason, these issues cannot be fixed and have been an issue regularly for others during the 3+ years I have lived here.

An incredibly helpful and friendly 24-hour front desk/main office staff, fantastic location immediately off the metro, yet still tucked away into quiet and serene Rock Creek Park, and a POOL! How could you want or need anything else?!

Friendly people and great location.
2501 Porter is a great place to live. I am always greeted with a smile and helpful assistance. I love that the building is a quick walk to the metro and restaurants, but is also nestled in the quiet peace of nature. The pool is amazing - and also nestled in a way that makes it feel like an isolated back yard. Service requests are handled within 24 hours without having to ask twice. Love this building!
