On warm summer’s days, take a twenty-minute walk to the shores of Silver Lake Reservoir, followed by an ice-cold drink at the hip bars and cafes on Hyperion, a five-minute stroll from your home. Enjoy a peaceful and magical stay! Things to Note : Accessibility: The home is an upstairs unit on one level, with the front door located at the top of 35 wide steps. Parking: A one-car garage is available exclusively for your use. Separate studio unit below: they have their own private entrance, and it is rented out intermittently. Garden: The garden is for your enjoyment only, with a gardener visiting every other week for maintenance. Historical Charm: Built in the 1939, our home retains its original wooden windows, which may be hard to open, and has floors without insulation. To maintain cleanliness and reduce noise, there is a no-shoe policy. Resident Tortoise: Our friendly giant desert Sulcata tortoise needs to be fed every other day with carrots, veggies, and food scraps (2 pounds for each feed) at your own cost. He's a live composting machine! Indoor Plant Care: Several indoor plants, including 3 giant Fiddle leaf Fig trees, require watering every four days. Master Bedroom: Features a queen bed, Smart Roku TV, and French doors leading to a lush patio. Second Bedroom: Equipped with a double bed, desk, and its own private toilet. Third Bedroom: Contains a single/twin bed and a desk. Bathroom: Recently remodeled with stunning finishes. Living/Dining Room: Open and airy, with views of Griffith Park and the Observatory, no TV. Kitchen: Fully equipped with a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, toaster, vintage range/oven, microwave, washer/dryer, and a breakfast bar. Housekeeping: A cleaning service will be provided bi-monthly. Enjoy the perfect blend of nature and serenity in the midst of the city!
