About This Property

Great location, midway between the Southwest Corridor and Centre Street. The Orange line and a bike path downtown are in the Southwest Corridor. Close by is Franklin Park with a Zoo, golf course, picnicking and trails. Centre Street has lots of restaurants and shops and the 39 bus. Very walkable/bike-able neighborhood close to Jamaica Pond, Olmstead Park, Arnold Arboretum, Whole Foods and Stop and Shop. The apartment is on the second floor of a three-decker, on the south side of the building. There is street parking with a permit that is easy to get. There is a laundry shared with 3 other apartments in the basement. It is free for residents. Pets are allowed on a case by case basis. It is a two bedroom unit with a big eat-in kitchen and living room. The floors are hardwood throughout. The stove and hot water are gas. The heating system is a brand new ducted system fired by a cold climate heat pump. At the current rate of $0.27/KWH it is expected to cost ~$1000/year for heat. Gas and Electricity are separately metered and paid by the tenant. The heat pump also works as AC for those 25 or so days in the summer when it is over 90. There are porches in the front and the back. The back yard is a shared space with a brick patio and a grill. There is secure bike storage under the front porch.
