Property Ratings at 2550 South Main Apartments
Casey is a terrible Property Manager. He doesn’t care about his tenants and their needs. He doesn’t know much about the property or surrounding area. He will not try to help make you happy on the contrary he will state other experiences where a decision was upheld similar to your complaint to make you feel stuck or like you have to pay your way out of a situation they won’t fix. I wish I would have paid more money to love somewhere nicer rather than settling because I’d rather pay the large lease breakage fee then stay here for another 4-5 months. Save yourself and rent elsewhere.
The management lady is extremely disrespectful and rude. Does not answer phone calls from tenant any time in a day. Not going to renew my lease here just because of her.
What Management Won't Tell You: If you love inspections and your things to be disturbed when management comes in, then this is the apartment complex for you! We've had over 6 "random" inspections within the last 6 months and the management turnover at this place is insane. Inspections often happen with less than 24 hour notice and be prepared for management to snoop in your things and move items around in your apartment. Also, management failed to mention to us just how LOUD main street and west temple are. Many people think it's fun to rev motorcycles at 1-2am on these roads whenever it is not snowing. You will not be able to open your windows at night. We are at the south east portion of the complex one building removed from the street and it's unbearable. I can't imagine what it is like to live right on either of the streets. Lots of weird activity occurring in the houses to the south of the complex - even with the gate, wouldn't feel comfortable leaving windows open. Don't feel comfortable walking outside the complex at night. Management is VERY lax about making sure the gates function and remain closed. You can even squeeze in the front gate if you push it. Other Inconveniences: Many people in this complex think it's ok to have dogs off leash and to not be responsible for their pets. Beware. If you opt in to the community internet, be warned that it will time out all of the time when you want to use it on weekends and you can't contact the provider directly. Trash bins are always full and don't always get emptied on time. The units are newer and the space and garages (we don't have one, but they seem to be nice). But, you are paying a lot of money to live in this community and with all of the hassles, you start to be resentful. We will not be renewing our lease!

Hi there, The management turnover was active during the beginning of 2016 and we certainly apologize for that, we are just trying to find the right fit to make sure this is a lovely place for all of our resident's to live and unfortunately with new management, comes inspections- I don't believe that management "snooped" through any of your items, as we pride ourselves in making our residents feel comfortable and there are always 2 people in your apartment at a time, during inspections. We apologize for any inconvenience this was for you, however, we've had the same management now since March 2016 and have no plans to change. I hope that your time here wasn't all bad as 2550 is a lovely place to live. Thank you, 2550 Management

Great location close to downtown, track station half of mile away, Diverse cuisine in area, Apartments have a small dog park and gym nice outdoor pool and public grill.
I love living at 2550 S Main. The apartments are uber new (really) with spacious interiors and a sleek appeal. Cherry wood cabinetry and really nice counter tops give it a modern vibe—so you can impress all your friends. Even better, 2550 S Main is accessible to downtown Salt Lake if you're in the mood for being social. But, really, the social happening is at your place because you live at 2550 S Main. A quiet, nice area with nice renters and management. A bit pricey, but offers very comfortable living, especially for young people like me. It's not smack-dab in the hustle and bustle of the city, but not too far either. A win-win, simply put.
I lived at 2550 south main apartments for about 10 months. The only reason I moved is because I am getting married and bought a home. It started out rough. Maintenance wasn't the greatest. They got a new manager in April and it was night and day difference. Her name is Melanie and she is amazing. She is prompt and responds to all issues right away. It's amazing how staff could be a make it or break it on a place. Thanks Melanie, for making my time there amazing! :)

Definitely on my top 2 list of apts that had a great location..easy access to the freeways. Very quiet area..clean..affordable..nice and new..
