About This Home
Welcome to Side B of this charming two-unit home, where you can savor a touch of Palm Springs amid Savannah's rich history and southern hospitality. This historic residence features old-world charm, including a live oak draped in Spanish moss, a shared above-ground pool, a gazebo, and beautiful outdoor spaces. Original terrazzo floors add to the allure, all nestled in a historic fishing village just minutes from downtown. The studio apartment is a tastefully converted and fully finished former garage, and is furnished with a small kitchenette with microwave and kitchen essentials, a queen bed, and two pull-out sofa beds. There is also a large walk-in spa-style shower. Guests have access to the outside spaces that may be shared with guests who are renting out Side A. The entire home is available for rental as well. Our above-ground pool is shared between units, is open year-round, and is not heated. Weekly maintenance and cleaning are performed on the pool. The pool services do not take long and will not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard and pool area if you stay with us on service day. Minutes to one of the most beautiful cemeteries in the world, Bonaventure Cemetery is open to visitors year-round. Also close to downtown Savannah, Thunderbolt Historical Society, and less than an hour drive to popular beaches. We recommend driving, but Uber and Lyft are available in the area. Guests have access to the B side of the unit. The yard is shared. There may be guests checked into the A side, so if you're a person who is sensitive to guests next door or other sounds, please book elsewhere. We want to provide our guests with maximum privacy and flexibility, so we have check-in and check-out automated. We can always have someone come and help if you need it, but otherwise, we will leave you and your friends and family to spend time together. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this.

The oldest city in Georgia, Savannah is located just across the Savannah River from South Carolina. Canopies of Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss and restored historic buildings line cobblestone streets throughout Savannah. Built over Indian burial grounds and old cemeteries, Savannah has a haunted reputation consequently leading to frequent ghost tours.
Boasting a pedestrian-friendly layout, Savannah is a highly walkable city. There are plenty of things to do in Savannah, all within walking distance. Should you choose to rent in Savannah, you will have the chance to attend the world’s second largest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, see the ornate Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, shop the boutiques and national retailers along Broughton Street, marvel at the many art galleries run by Savannah College of Art and Design graduates, unwind at Forsyth Park, enjoy the Savannah Film Festival, and take a 30-minute drive to Tybee Island for easy beach access.
