Built in 1895, this Victorian Folk building is characterized by high ceilings making it feel very spacious with tall windows for lots of light. The original redwood floors have been restored, and all the kitchens and bathrooms are brand new with traditional tile, fixtures, and appliances for ease of use. Each unit also has its own washer/dryer. With the exception of the water heater, all appliances and heating run on electric, so you won’t have a high heating bill in winter. There is a small amount of garden access for BBQs, and enjoying the breeze that comes off the harbor. Pets are encouraged, and there are no additional fees or deposits for them. Parking is on the street. Residents may purchase a City parking permit for $8. The property is conveniently located 5 blocks from the Trolley station, 4 blocks from Downtown Barrio Logan, and 2 miles from downtown San Diego, so it is extremely convenient, and highly walkable. Northgate Market is less than 1 mile away or a 15 minute walk. The supermarket has a full deli, wine/liquor, and organic produce.
