The Metro (Woodley Park Zoo/red line) is a few hundred feet away, providing easy access to the city. Rock Creek Parkway is a few blocks away, offering a fast and scenic drive to the monuments, US Capitol, and Northern Virginia (DCA Airport, National Landing) and fantastic access to the trails and nature of Rock Creek Park itself. Connecticut Avenue is a prestigious corridor through the wealthiest neighborhoods of DC linking downtown to Bethesda, Maryland. Parking is on the street in the neighborhood around the building, and assistance is available to apply for a parking permit. Smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of the building or within fifty feet of the building, including outdoor spaces. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if the odor of smoke is reported. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices, and noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay. In the event of excess noise, music, gathering, or parties, a representative will respond, and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Exterior cameras record the exterior and common areas, including all entries to the building. Certain items should not be flushed down the toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal, as plumbing issues may result in charges. These items include cooking grease, food, coffee grinds, feminine products, baby wipes, dental floss, Q-tips, diapers, pills, paper towels, and tissues. The home may require unexpected or scheduled preventative maintenance, and access may be required with 24-hour written notice. The home is equipped with a desk, chair, and light in each bedroom, providing a comfortable work-from-home set-up. A laptop computer is not included.
