The home is walking distance to great bars and restaurants. THE SPACE Beautiful furnished two bedroom, one bath, apartment in the heart of the Marigny: one of New Orleans' oldest neighborhoods right next to the French Quarter. This rental is on the first floor of a rare, historic Creole corner store built in 1830. The 1500 sqft home has been carefully restored to feature all of its historical brilliance. Featuring the old New Orleans charm we love so much: high ceilings, stained concrete floors, exposed brick, decorative wrought iron window and door grates, floor to ceiling windows and french doors. Inside we have all the modern conveniences including a washer/dryer (shared with additional apartments) and central heat/air. There is a private bedroom with a king size bed and a Jack & Jill bathroom adjoining the second bedroom with a queen bed. Each bedroom has a separate exterior entrance so you do not have to walk through a bedroom to get to the main living space. The open space concept of the kitchen and living room offers a great area for enjoying your friends and family. There are plenty of cozy spaces for relaxing after a long night of exploring all our city has to offer. My home has 14' ceilings, cement floors, a full kitchen, a private courtyard, washer/dryer, WIFI, a wireless printer for any business needs and a flat screen TV with access to HBO, Showtime, and Netflix. We have plenty of art showcased in our home which we are sure you will appreciate. This home is a favorite to many visitors who want to stay in a beautiful area within walking distance to tons of great bars, restaurants, and shops, but also on a quiet neighborhood street with easy parking away from crowds.
