So far so good, moved in right before the flooding and hurricane so the apartment is still under repairs, staff has been great. Maintenance team is very responsive, Belfor has been doing a fantastic job. Just waiting for flooring to be completed to enjoy the new place fully. Overall, happy with all things considered.

Since moving in 2 years ago there have been so many improvements made at the building that have made a big difference. The new maintenance supervisor seems really on top of it and he keeps the property clean. Management hosts a lot of fun events which have made it easy to meet my neighbors.

Overall experience has been great due to all amazing staff. Harvey, Linda, AQ, Ato, Stephanie, Carlos, and all the valet team are amazing. Parking situation is great and Valet staff offers a sense of security. Mail and package management are efficient and amazing as well. Guest access along with Uber deliveries are always verified which I truly love for security.

This is our first time in a high-rise with such elegance and pose; scenery is breath taking. The staff is amazing and quick to answer all concerns when approached. Concierge may not know us by name, but they definitely know our faces and the unit we reside. I love a house, but this building has been breaking boundaries for us. we're happy and glad to call 2929 Weslayan, HOME!

I wish I had found 2929 Weslayan earlier! The price per square foot is exceptional compared to area high-rises. My unit had new flooring and was in great move-in shape. The staff was very responsive with any questions or concerns. I'm sure we will be very happy here.

I would not rent in this building again. The experience has been disappointing. Unit is tired appliances don't work, amenities are dirty. Elevators always down, no valet carts. Flooding damaged many units and hallways and it has taken better part of a year for repairs. Communication by management is poor.

I had been very happy in this building for the first two years, but for a year now, I am still happy in my apartment, but the common areas of the building are a disaster. Mainly for not giving maintenance on time and not fixing failures quickly. This exposes the security and integrity of the residents.

In my 30 years of renting, this is the most poorly managed property I have seen. Pipes are always breaking and the entire building is often without water. Once we had no water for 2 weeks! Elevators always breaking down, once we had no elevators at all for several days. Can you imagine a medical emergency in a 30 story high rise with no elevators? Door leading to the 3rd floor garage has been broken for a about a year. Main garage gate gate stays broken for about 5 months out of each year. Maintenance will fix things if and when they feel like it.

Elevator constantly broken, AC has went out several times, dirty hallways/common areas, maintenance requests take weeks, roaches in pool/lounge area, mold stinch all over the building. Water leaks, garage gate always open, car vandalism, access entry doors don't work. Appliances don't work. Worst high rise experience EVER!!!

So after living here for about 2 months, here our honest opinion. Location is great, staff is nice and friend, apartment and view we love. But if you need anything fixed that’s where the fun stops. Very very slow on repair request and they seem to not have enough maintenance staff to keep of request. As far as I’ve seen there are only 3 people handling all of the maintenance the supervisor and 2 other guys. They don’t have any maintenance personnel to keep residents update on work order status. We are pretty patient and reasonable and not demanding at all, but the only time I ever get someone to look at our place is when I talk to the leasing staff. So if anything breaks be ready to wait for a while to get things repaired. If the maintenance was better this would 100% get 5 stars, but for now simply because of the maintenance(or lack there of) I’d give it a 2. In all fairness, even with the downsides of the maintenance we do plan on staying here for while simply because we do love the location and views of our apartment.

I love my apartment but have been pretty dissatisfied with the management of the building which has changed hands at least 3 times in the past 4 years. I want to believe that the current team is trying to improve things but change has been pretty slow and inconsistent.

I enjoy living at 2929; the common areas are kept neat and tidy, the coffee bar is kept stocked and clean. The concierge team are friendly and helpful at all times. It is situated in a convenient location with good access to freeways, restaurants and supermarkets, and just 10 mins from the Galleria.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had living in an apartment and I’ve lived in houston for over 7 years. My apartment was broken into while i was working out of town and over 25k worth of designer bags and shoes were stolen from me on the 22nd floor! How does that even happen? There were no cameras to capture the incident and they had no explanations for me. My door was kicked in. No neighbors reported of hearing anything. I had to close the case with the police because the cameras that actually worked showed very poor quality footage as the police stated. Half of the cameras in the building and surrounding do not even work so your safety is at risk. The garage will literally allow anyone into the building rather you live there or not. There is no way of tracking who goes in and out (they claim they’re working on this) there is also no way to track who uses the key fobs and who has access to your floor via elevator. Very unsafe! I’ve had multiple packages come up missing because they leave your packages outside of your door even when you tell them not to. And they won’t replace anything that goes missing. I’ve had hundreds of dollars worth of packages go missing due to this. Lastly, the elevators are always broken and residents have to use the stairs and cars get broken into in the garage often mainly because anyone can gain access. There has also been an influx of young people to move into the building running it down so it’s not as quiet and clean as it once was when i first moved there. The only good thing they did was allow me out of my lease after the break in but none of my things were retrieved or reimbursed. I had to break my lease and move into a new apartment for my safety and peace of mind. I would not recommend this place for the price you pay security should be much better than it is. There are far better high rises in the area that care about your safety, that have 24/7 security available and that have a better package delivery system. If you care anything about your safety and well-being, save yourself the grief and move somewhere else!

Since 2017 when I arrived here, I have been very happy! It proved to be so much quieter than I ever imagined and I love being tucked away in my corner apartment with a lovely view. The staff is professional and quite helpful. I greatly appreciate the extras they provide as in get-together every few months, birthday and sporting events.

Avoid this property. Burglaries, drug use and broken amenities are the norm. If you use the sky deck youll have to fight the roaches to stay out of your food/drinks. The antiquated garage entry system has resulted in NUMEROUS vehicle burglaries and attempted thefts in the last month. Management is always reactive-never proactive. This is NOT a luxury property by any stretch of the imagination. Hallways have not been climate controlled in months. Whatever the temp is outside-thats the temp inside. Im sure the humidity is causing mold to grow.

We chose this community for the security it offered and the benefit of the concierge and parking attendants (if needed). The apartments are very sound proofed, I never hear my neighbors at all and this is appreciated. The views are amazing depending on what side of the building you are on. Dogs are welcome; in general we really enjoy living here.

Greystar has done a wonderful job of improving the building. Apartment maintenance requests are being completed and everyone has been polite and efficient.

Hi there - 100% satisfaction is our goal! Great to see 2929 Weslayan gave you such a great experience.
I would really like to love living here but I am afraid I don't. It is very expensive with none of the promised perks. The overall building is not well kept above the first floor.

The overall cleanses of common area is very poor. Maintenance requests are not done timely (several months).

Location of the apartment is good with easy access to the major artery of highways. Galleria & River Oaks are walking distance. Most of the tenants are friendly.

I was falsely promised I wouldn't be able to hear construction noise from my unit on the 25th floor facing east because the construction was to the south, but that wasn't true: the trucks wake me up when they start beeping at 4:55 am, the hammering and drilling and heavy machinery start at 7, and I can't hear myself think during the day. The elevators, hallways, parking garage, and balconies reek of marijuana. The parking garage has too few spaces because so many are taken up by wrecks that haven't moved in months but aren't being towed. (If you visit, take a look at the out-of-state-plated car with a year's worth of dust and a flat tire on the north side of the second-floor garage.) Stay away.
