About This Property
Oceanfront Diamond Head. Look straight down and watch fish swimming in the ocean from this apartment! Sunsets nightly. Fireworks weekly. Utilities included. Taxes included. Whale watch. 2 bedrooms; 2 bathrooms, both en suite. Pet friendly. Gated. Dishwasher. Grill. Six (6) months minimum lease. Furnished. Listen to the sounds of the waves and see whales, turtles, fish, manta rays, dolphins, Hawaiian monk seals and the most magnificent, breathtaking ocean and sunset views from this Oceanfront Diamond Head apartment on the Gold Coast. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. Pets OK. Each room is directly on the ocean-- large lanai, master bedroom, kitchen, and living room are all directly on the ocean. Even the second bedroom faces the ocean. You enter the ocean directly from the property. (There is access to the ocean on site.) Each bedroom has its own en suite private bathroom. Look to the right from the lanai and see the Pink Palace (Royal Hawaiian Hotel) and Waikiki Bay. From the left you'll see the annual canoe paddlers racing from Molokai. Look straight ahead and see waves and boats. From this apartment you'll see sunsets every night (12 months a year!) and from your lanai you'll enjoy watching the fireworks every Friday night. The building, Tropic Seas, was built in 1958, and has very thick solid concrete walls (you'll likely never hear a neighbor). The lease term is 6 (six) months minimum; ok to extend. The address of the building is 2943 Kalakaua Ave. The apartment number is 808, a corner/end unit on the eighth floor. It is two doors away from the Elks Club, which is next door to the Outrigger Canoe Club. The Aquarium is down the block. Picnic right across the street at Kapiolani Park. Tennis courts are across the street. This is a people-friendly building. A number of residents gather downstairs at the lounge area on the ocean side of the property every evening before sunset to watch the sun go down into the ocean. There are stairs that go down to the swimming area. There is a great Weber barbecue grill and outdoor lighted dining table under the hau tree for your use, so you can invite your friends and family to join you for dinner as the waves beckon four feet away. Inside the apartment, you might choose to have your meals on the lanai which sits above and looks out onto the ocean and over the swaying palm trees. The configuration of this apartment actually creates two ocean frontages to this unit because the coastline wraps around a corner at this spot. This spacious apartment's size is 1,132 square feet. There are views of Diamond Head and the Waianae Mountain Range. The building is opposite Dillingham Fountain, which is lighted at night. The friendly site manager is extremely helpful. Trash chute and recycling closet on each floor. Nicely renovated. Canoe paddlers, stand-up paddle boarding, surfers, swimmers, sailboats, cruise ships are your view in the front yard, the Pacific Ocean. Your backyard is Kapiolani Park. There is a storage rack for kayaks and surfboards, as well as a bike rack, and two storage lockers for each apartment. Dishwasher, microwave, disposal, stove/oven, refrigerator with ice maker. Partly furnished. Close to bus stops. The rent is $4900 and that includes tax and utilities and amenities. This includes all electricity, High Speed Internet, Wi-Fi, standard digital TV cable box with over 200 channels, High-Definition Entertainment channels, Showtime, Interactive Program Guide, hot water, cold water, sewer, rubbish removal, and site manager. There is free street parking across the street at the park. This beachfront property has a secured entry and is gated. Walk to Michel's Restaurant, the Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant, and Waikiki. Seeing the full moon lighting up the ocean at night from this apartment is an enchanting and compelling sight you'll always look forward to. Must have good credit.
