Recently moved. Missing the neighborhood.
Recently moved out. Water damage happened numerous times. Crumbling tile flooring in bathroom. Very difficult to clean. No exhaust fan over stove so cooking was super messy. Crumbling old paint. However, very nice neighborhood, very close to public transportation, grocery shopping, nice restaurants, and parks. Also, cheap rent for a large 2 bedroom, considering the neighborhood is becoming expensive . Hoping that the new tenants will move into the place after serious renovations including new kitchen appliances, cupboards, and a retiled bathroom with updated bathtub.

Oldie, but goodie.
I've lived in this top floor apartment for a little over 3 years. Very close to the A and 1 train subway stations and several grocery stores, restaurants, various shops, and beautiful parks. Nice, quiet street with lots of families and artists. Old building, so outlets are scarce, cockroach sightings are occasional, and elevator is a little nerve-wracking, but it's charming and quite large for a Manhattan apartment. Heat/water is included, TWC (the only available cable provider) stinks, laundry in the basement (when necessary as it's not the best). Overall, I like living here (large apartment near public transport) and pay less than most people I know.
