Property Ratings at The Brown's Loft
Poor offsite property management that lacks timeliness and response to the point where it takes beyond a few weeks for maintenance requests and concerns responded to. FILTHY apartment upon move-in. There were red and brown stains lining almost the entire walls, a layer of gunk stuck to different appliances and walls, missing handles, lights, doors that were falling off, and an unclean bathroom with whoever was there previously’s mess. Off site property manager didn’t seem too bothered by this once I asked about it.
Hands down the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in. The apartment was FILTHY when I moved in. There were brown, black, and red stains everywhere - it coated the walls of the entire bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and living room area. There was white gunk stuck to the different walls, stains on the edging of the walls, an unclean toilet & sink, and hairs in the vents. I should’ve found a way out of my lease then, but I stayed. Since then it’s just been pulling teeth to get maintenance to fix any of the issues that were there upon move in (including a sink that wouldn’t drain) and problems that persisted afterwards (including a window that stopped opening during the heat of the summer. I didn’t have a functioning window for over two weeks and my apartment only has one window that can open). Didn’t hear back for days and the only reason I even got a response was because I kept following up. It’s pretty disappointing because the apartments themselves are beautiful lofts, but the lack of timeliness, response, or cleanliness does not outweigh its beauty. I suggest renting somewhere else.
New ownership took over a little over a year ago. Non-responsive to maintenance issues incl broken water heater, broken washer & flood. Property manager’s email address is a fake. Do not rent from GLC!
