The kitchenette has polished concrete floors, a 10 cubic foot fridge/freezer, apartment sized four burner stove and oven, sink and microwave. It is fully supplied with dishes, utensils, cooking/baking pans and thoughtfully stocked with coffee, tea, spices, flour, sugar, salt, oils and food essentials to get you started. The designated dining area has a large, unique metal and glass table. This table is also a great place to spread out if working from home! The carpeted living room has a vibrant red couch, 42” flatscreen TV that is tucked away ready for relaxation time and the included wifi will allow you to stream your favorite shows. The glass block lamps are custom made locally and absolutely unique. The windows frame metal art on the tall privacy fence outside. The bedroom is peaceful, with a comfy double bed, a sound machine to facilitate restful sleep and a sparkle lamp, just for fun! The exotic, European inspired custom wet bath (a walk-in shower that does not need a door) has a perfect blend of privacy and light coming through the glass block window overhead. Relax under the rain shower on the mosaic tiled floor and smile as you get ready for your day over the sassy red sink. Just try to stand in this room without feeling like you are in Europe! You (and possibly your furry friend) will share a backyard that is very private, with us and our furry friends. We have two loveable dogs, one of whom enjoys hanging in the yard and will love to greet you, while the other can’t wait to get back into the house! The backyard has two old silver maples, one over 150 years old. Despite the lack of greenery in the Winter, the yard continues to delight with it’s colorful, bohemian vibe to brighten even the gloomiest winter day. There is a bistro table and chairs to enjoy the crisp outdoors. In the summer months the backyard offers shade from the grandmother silver maple. there is a 'sky garden' with hanging veggies, herbs, plants, flowers, a comfy two-person hammock for chillin', a BBQ and a firepit. PETS * Pets with permission only with additional fees/deposit. *$100 refundable, $100 nonrefundable, per pet. *Pet interview is required. Looking for non-aggressive dogs that don’t bark or dig. There is an optional front door available with a pet entry for a medium sized animal. The yard is fenced (although not guaranteed to keep all dogs in.) * Pet waste gets picked up each day. $5 fee per poo bomb if we have to pick it up. OTHER DETAILS *Tenant must be willing to be vigilant about verifying that the gate is closed tightly each time they enter or exit *No nicotine products in the house or on the property *Events with permission only *Proof of renters insurance required. We are friendly, but also completely respect your privacy. We will give you space, but we will be as available as you'd like us to be. We have lived in the area many years and have lots to share about music events, favorite restaurants and activities if you'd like info. We are avid hiker/mountain biker/skiers and can tell you about great trails! You will share the back entrance with a member of our household, who also has a designated parking spot, and gets supplies in and out of the garage attached to this apartment. For the most part you'll find the yard a quiet refuge. We manage all lawn/sidewalk care with the exception of snow shoveling when needed. Bogus Basin ski resort is 35 minutes away where you can downhill -day or night, cross country, or inner tube. You can store your winter play equipment behind the private fenced yard. For the urban experience you are 7 minutes to the engaging downtown. Within minutes you will find Albertsons, a library, roller skating rink, $1 store, laundromat, and Caffiena, a local coffee house by day/adult beverages by night.
