Property Ratings at 3021 Holmes Ave S
Really wanted to rent from here, unfortunately the timing of my particular needs were not compatible with the availability of units. The building feels new, well maintained. I had excellent service working staff who were getting me in to see different units that were available. They worked with me as best they could to offer what I wanted on a very short time table. Unfortunately the particular units I really desired (I wanted something with 800 sq ft or more) were already taken, or would not be available in the time frame that I needed housing. Location is great. Lots to do all around 3021 Holmes. Also a good friend of mine rents here and loves it, has been there several years now. Id take his apartment if he let me!
We moved into this building because we were drawn to the friendly staff who lived onsite and seemed personally invested in things running smoothly. Unfortunately, things changed almost immediately after we moved in. New management replaced all of the staff with a rotating cast of do-nothing part time employees who were rude, slow to respond to maintenance requests and uninterested in the buildings livability. Over the course of our living there many longtime tenants moved out and were replaced by partying younger tenants who treated it like a frat house - the hallways started to stink of weed and we’d occasionally find vomit. We would need to follow up repeatedly for maintenance in our own unit, and basic building repairs also took weeks (for example, the door into the garage was broken for more than a month). We were all too happy to move out - the units are shiny and well updated but it’s not worth the trouble of actually living there.
