Unit 3 – 3025 2nd Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405 (Ocean Park) This second floor Craftsman apartment is located in a classic 1912 building with locking doors and gates, one block from Main Street and two blocks from the beach. It is a unique and aesthetic blend of old craftsmanship with new amenities, which is rare on the Westside. The apartment is a light and airy corner unit, with views to the south and the west. The apartment has just been beautifully restored and has lots of charm, character and built-ins. It is quiet and private. (it shares a floor with only one other unit and extends from the front to the back of the building). There is ample closet space (a large walk closet, another large closet, a third closet), storage and a separate dressing area with built-ins. It has hardwood floors, new white plantation blinds, fresh paint, newer light fixtures and appliances. The kitchen has white tile counters, lots of white cabinets, high end appliances, including a free standing full size gas oven and cooktop, a stainless steel sink, a new microwave, a new dishwasher and a garbage disposal. The bathroom has clean white ceramic tile throughout, a large pedestal sink and a deep clawfoot tub, with a shower. The water pressure is excellent, which is rare for a building of this age. The entry room, living room and bedroom all have wainscoting and other unique wood details, including craftsman details, built-in drawers and shelves. The building is quiet and stable. The apartment is two blocks from the beach. Restaurants, shopping and Main Street are all close by. This is a great neighborhood. There is an on-site laundry facility, an on-site bike rack and ample street parking with resident's and guest permits from the city for all neighborhood residents. Secured parking in another building is available across the street. There is a one year minimum lease term. All utilities except electricity are included in the rent. The apartment is approximately 675 square feet, but feels much bigger due to all of the light and the open lay-out. This is a very special and unique apartment in a much sought after area.
