Prepare delicious meals in a fully equipped kitchen designed with convenience in mind, complete with modern appliances and thoughtfully stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. The resort offers a large heated indoor pool, two jacuzzis, a steam room, a sauna, an exercise room, and shared washers and dryers. Parking is available in the lower-level lots, with a complimentary shuttle service to the front entrance during the busy season. On-site parking is only available when the shuttle is not operating. Enjoy hiking, skiing, and golfing, plus nearby dining, shopping, and attractions. Grandfather Mountain State Park is just a 10-minute drive away, and Sugar Creek Gem Mine is only 9 minutes away. With easy access to highways 105 and 184, exploring the area is a breeze. The building does not have a ski lift, but it is conveniently located right next to the slopes. A complimentary shuttle operates on demand, approximately every 30 minutes to nearby Sugar Ski. During the winter months, snowfall can accumulate quickly, even after paths are cleared. If you're visiting in snowy conditions, it is recommended to utilize the complimentary shuttle service for easier and safer commutes. From December through January, 4WD or AWD vehicles are mandatory for accessing Grousemoor Road leading up to Sugartop. This requirement is enforced by the Sugar Mountain Police Department, and tickets will be issued to vehicles that do not meet these requirements. Additional guest charges apply for more than five guests, at $35 per guest, per night. The primary guest must be at least 21 years old.
