Now listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, nearly 15,000 visitors tour the now Wyoming Frontier Prison Museum every year. Rawlins is also home to the Carbon County Museum. Though Rawlins had a gritty past, it’s a charming small town today filled with small businesses and affordable apartments and houses for rent.
