Property Ratings at 30Sixty
Smoke free building policy. But weed smell everywhere. Management doen't care.
It’s the worst when the place you live become the greatest source of stress. The reason? Its not having to dodge and weave around the puddles of dog urine in the hallways every time I go out. No, I became quite a natural at that. It’s also not the lack of response from management whose staff seems to get regularly replaced. I’ve given up on relying on them to handle issues. No, it’s the constant thudding and ceiling quaking that I receive from the unit above through these paper-thin walls. There is absolutely no noise insulation in this building. I get to hear everywhere my upstairs neighbor goes as they, what sounds like stomps around the apartment. I am not a noise sensitive person I don’t mind street noise, but I can feel the weight of their steps as it vibrates the ceiling and ripples down the walls to me, who is living in a constant state of anxiety anticipating when the next earthquake will happen. Considering this is a “luxury” apartment I feel duped that I am paying a lot of rent money for a place I can’t even relax in.This isn’t even the only issue, I can attest to all the complaints from the reviews posted on here.
Not even sure where to start, my lease will not be renewed. On the paper this place looks great with all the amenities a “luxury place” as to offer. However this has been less than a pleasant experience, bugs, noise and dirt. Bugs you will walk up to quite some of it, be patient the management will question your sanity. Noise, tenant do not respect the “quiet time” although listed in the lease, made few complain but this will not go anywhere. The place is extremely dirty, as mentioned in some other reviews the hallways are getting worse by the day, pet owners let their dog pee in the garage, the outdoor of the building have trash everywhere and landscape maintenance is inexistant. On and all not a great experience here, looking forward to my move... The only greatness about this place are the security guard, they will try their best to make it right (although not their job) and the maintenance people, they are professional even with the limit resources.
The apartments look nice but there is a big bug problem. I find different kinds of bugs and spiders in my house every single day even though I clean my house regularly. Management never does anything. I regret moving here and I cannot wait to move out. Everything breaks even though they fix it. Microwave light literally broke a couple of days after they 'fixed' it. The street is so loud we cannot sleep. It never stops, there is noise 24/7. Windows are not sound-proof. The only good thing about here is the security team. They are here 24/7 and they are on everything.
The building looks good on the surface, you will be swayed with the all-included amenities and "promotional deals," but 30sixty is not the luxury apartment experience that it advertises itself to be. As other reviews have mention, the hallways are filthy, lined with pet stains that have been left for months. My unit was not prepared for move-in. There were a lot of things still requiring maintenance and was very poorly cleaned. There was moldy food left in the fridge and the washer was gunked up with fur. The resident here lack consideration and leave their trash everywhere. Not to mention you can hear every step of your neighbor above you. Despite new management having twice the amount of people than the previous one, they are slow to take action and "handles" issues by sending out reminder emails of apartment policies.
Pros Great design Great central air Security Great views and location Cons I am not high maintenance but the dogs peeing or taking a dump in the hallways does happen Contacting the lease offices seems harder than it should be Overall things have been great- it’s quiet and chill neighbors Amenities are ok
I've moved out of here 2 months ago and i still have not received my security deposit. Calls and emails have been made many many times. We are so fed up that we are suing because by law, landlords are to return the security deposit within 21 days after move out. PLEASE SAVE THE MONEY, AND HEADACHE and DO NOT MOVE HERE. You are warned. Unprofessional management and very overpriced.
I decided to give this a place a chance since it had a very attractive move-in offer. The very first day-scorching hot water in one tub, lukewarm at best in the other. Maintenance was called and it seemed to get better for a while but it was still temperamental. Also noticed the garbage disposal was making a weird noise. Turned out it was broken even before we had a chance to use it. Called maintenance again and they replaced the whole unit. This was the first week of staying at a brand new apartment. Not soon after that, I got trapped outside on the balcony because the balcony door handle broke. Had to call down to the office so that someone could come and let me back in to my own apartment. First time ever I've been locked out of my apartment in my apartment. Needless to say maintenance was out again and "fixed" the issue. I didn't trust them so I made sure to put a box of tools outside in case it happened again. Lo and behold, just a couple days later the handle stops working again. I had to take it apart myself to fix the issue, this time for good. At least these were fixable. Not the "state-of-the-art" fire alarm system. It had to be the most invasive system I've ever had the pleasure of living with. They installed speakerphones inside the unit so that they could make announcements whenever they felt like it seems. I'll tell ya, there's nothing quite like being awoken by a strange man's voice inside your apartment. If it's once or twice, okay, that's understandable. But ONCE OR TWICE AN HOUR, 4-5 HOURS A DAY FOR 5 DAYS STRAIGHT?!?! If you think I'm exaggerating, I have the email from management warning us of the impending fire alarm testing FOR THE WEEK. In close to 20 years of renting in southern California, I have never once had a building that tested their fire alarm as frequently as these people. So at the end of the lease, I couldn't get out of here fast enough, thinking that my woes were over. Not so fast. As I'm writing this review almost a full month after I've moved out, i am still waiting on my security deposit to be returned to me. They're required by law to return it within 21 days of move out date. It's now day 25 and I have called and written them about it for the past week and have yet to hear back from them. It's as if the entire leasing company disappeared. But at the same time, I'm getting emails saying my lease is now month-to-month and that I owe them rent. It is unbelievable how bad this experience has been. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Lived here for a year and moved out this past weekend. Not worth it. I'm a dog owner and I have never been so frustrated whilst living anywhere else about how owners do not clean up after their dogs AND how the management "threatens" to take care of the situation. Now that the retail spaces are all open, the garage is completely filled with cars (did not design the place well to handle all the cars). The managers are not responsive to any of the emails and even when they are, cannot help you at all with any of the specific billing questions you have. All of a sudden there are these charges that show on my account and all they can tell me is to look into the specific billing itemizations. I sat down and literally had to calculate 13 months worth of itemizations. I'm trying to currently talk to a manager to finalize my move out but they aren't responsive to that as well.
I’ve been living here since 30Sixty opened and WOW can I tell you it has been a huge frustration the entire time. Pros: clean looking apartments, great central air Cons: almost daily/weekly fire alarm testing, power in the entire building goes off very frequently, entire building smells like dog because people all their animals to defecate in the hallways and elevator (please imagine stepping in dog sh*t on your way into your apartment), maitnence is nearly non existent, Bryan the leasing manager is NEVER around, car theft in the “secure” parking lot and on the street is frequent. This building is a disaster with a pretty face. Overall, 30Sixty is WAY too expensive for the quality of living you’ll have here. Find a more established building with working amenities and a fully functioning leasing office to get your money’s worth.
If I could give the place 0 stars I would. If you want to live in a place that has fire alarm testing everyday, pets that urinate and defecate throughout the hallways, and have maintenance issues go unattended / not fixed in a timely matter, then this is your spot to live! I have never lived in a place that has let maintenance issues go for months without being resolved. Lights in the hall / garbage room being out for weeks to nothing being fixed. Owners of pets leaving their messes out in the hallway for someone else to clean and or walk in is ridiculous and the owners have not been fined or dealt with. The garage is a disaster, the gate opener hardly works when trying to get back in. I would say the only good thing about the place is the security guards. They are usually nice and friendly. After that, go and find another place to live.
Since I moved here, I feel so happy to make the choice. The amenities are new and great! They did a great job on sound insulation. Since it is a relatively new community, it could avoid small little issues coming up, but Bryan relied all my emails or questions in time, and the property managers are doing their work to help the environment be better. Especially the 24hr security made me feel safe!
When we moved in, there was already a lot of damage to the place. Not sure how that happened since it's a brand new building. It was clear that they were not completely ready for the opening of this building as they ran out of gate opener remotes and 6 months after moving in, the pool is still not accessible to residents because management hasn't handed out keys. Also, there are not enough parking spots for everyone. It's very frustrating paying such a large amount of money when people don't have the option of buying another spot. That also means there's no visitor parking. I think they really try to cut costs by hiring the least number of managers, which really shows. The only good thing is that the security guards are there 24/7 and are generally friendly.
The apartment building is nice; however residents are allowed to let their pets urinate and deficate anywhere they please inside the building without little recourse from property management. It sucks to have to hold your breath while waiting on the elevator so that you do not have to inhale pet urine or walk with your head down so that you don't step in dog poo. I wish the pet owners were more considerate of their neighbors who have to share the same space with their pets. I won't be renewing my lease....that's for sure.
It was great experience having my home here and everyone was nice helping me to get amazing special deals such are free rent, free internet and parking. Also, security people, technicians and other staffs are pretty cool too!
Do not even bother trying to schedule an appointment for a viewing, they have little to no interest in showing. The phone lines go to voicemail (tried 15 times throughout the day) and I finally showed up in person hoping to schedule a showing and was asked to wait 2 hours. 2 hours later, I was asked to come back in an hour. Extremely unprofessional and difficult, should never have to basically beg to speak with the office manager Brian, who dodged me twice as I waited outside his office.
