Appleton is a charming, green city located about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. It straddles the Fox River at the north end of Lake Winnebago. In addition to a rolling, lush landscape with mature trees and river views, Appleton is a college town -- home to Lawrence University, a private liberal arts college founded in 1847. You'll find plenty of student traffic on College Avenue, which houses Lawrence University. However, more students live nearer to the University of Wisconsin in Menasha, to the south of Appleton city limits. While looking for apartments in Appleton, be aware that this large city spans three counties: Winnebago County, Outgamie County, and Calumet County.
You might be surprised to learn that Magician Harry Houdini lived in Appleton for a while as a youth.

Property Ratings at 3121 N Lawe St
I've lived here 9 years and its held up over the years, ive sen the updated apartments which are pretty nice but we could use more space, i also don't think your gonna get what your paying for, but there are people who have lived from 5 to 20 years so its good enough for some people to live here for awhile, it has a reasonable number of kids and low crime, near a gas station/ barber shop/ daycare/ park/ and main roads but not close enough to hear anything quieter then a siren. Pool, gym with new equiptment, sauna, and neighborhood watch, but again could use more space and the walls could be thicker but i mean its alright. 3.5 stars
Staff at Indian Creek are accommodating and wonderful to work with!
