Property Ratings at 315 N Maple Ave
I lived in an apartment managed by M&M Prop management company and returned because I knew they were a quality company (who does that?).They are AWESOME! Very receptive to concerns and are extremely efficient. Since moving into my new unit, I've found everything to be even better than expected. The apartment is warm, clean and inviting. The tenants are friendly and considerate. The building is cleaned by maintenance weekly. I'm so very impressed by this company again. Well done M&M Property Management -- thank you guys (Tim, Matt, Joe and Erol) -- you rock!!!
Very poor maintenance and management response. Very old 4 washers and 4 dryers with limited load capacity. When you request for maintenance, you get a rude response from the building manager. Very thin flooring, you can hear the conversation of your neighbors. Very awful smell inside the building. It has a great location and thats the ONLY advantage. Don’t try to avoid paying little extra money to get much more professional people.
Positives: - easy walk to downtown Oak Park i.e. restaurants, El train, movie theater, library, Trader Joe's is like a block away. - rent is relatively cheap Negatives: - poorly (cheaply) maintained - thin walls and floors that were cheaply installed so sound and air flow through easily. You will smell everything that is cooked and smoked throughout the building. - cockroaches - building is heated at bare-minimum requirements. Cheap - notice a pattern? - coin laundry (4 washers / 4 dryers in a building of ~ 100 people. And no change machine.) - some poor and selfish behavior from tenants - leaving trash in hallways, leaving their apartment door open when cooking fish (i mean, seriously?) , leaving shopping carts in elevator
